Gamesetting iMaxSummonedCreatures Ignored?!

Everyone surely knows that vanilla Skyrim only lets you summon MAX 2 of..... stuff. And that "raised" Maximum is because one has 100 Conjuration and "Twin Souls" Perk.

There are TONS of mods out there that raise that.

One can see videos of people with an ARMY of summons.

Now comes the fun part:

In my game this is IMpossible.

And I have no idea why.

Bashed Path, 0.esp is pretty much the LAST loaded mod and it directly sets iMaxSummonedCreatures to 100

I've tried direct mods for that and what not, and despite 100 Conjuration and all related perks, the 3rd Summon always replaces the 1st or 2nd.

Does anyone have a clue as to why this may be?

This has zero to do with crashes or whatever, it literally is just this one GameSetting / GlobalVar that doesn't follow any logic (at least any logic I heard of)

Do a small test.

Set the value to 100, as you have.

Open the console.

Type:

player.placeat me 109487 100

Close the console.

You should have a hundred dogs around (I selected dogs because any aggressive creature spawned like that will just kill you immediately.)

Look around and check if they are many (no way to really count them.)

Go in another place, change the "100" in the command line to "200" and re-do the trick.

Check again around.

This is just to test if your game can actually spawn enough creatures around.

It is not a direct test of the game value. (That is not affected by this test.)

TwinSouls is not multiply the existing value, but sets it directly (to 2).

So, if you have that perk, you can't summon more than 2 creatures, even if your GS was set to 200.

-.-

Me: Look this, Phinis you scrub

*summons ~20 dremora*

Phinis: HA! You can do better, here, learn this:

*salesspeech twinsouls*

Me: Boah, yea, makes sense one needs 100 CON for that, that's like summoning in Super Saiyajin mode

*learns it*

Me thinks time to show off now

*summons 2*

NYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGH

Fixed it, finally:

"bat removetwinsouls" calling removetwinsouls.txt (player.removeperk d5f1c) because it's always better to have batchfiles, even if the laziness comes down to one single line
