Jormungandr Posted November 29, 2012 Posted November 29, 2012 So .. the lack of real necromancer themed armor punched me to the point where i thought i'm trying to do my own stuff, the dirty lame and easy way..starting with pauldrons i downloaded http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/26617 and retextured it really nice, trying to add some skulls to them ends up in a error 112 in nifskope and a big fat exclamation mark in skyrim. So my question is; is there some super genius science required to do this or is it possible for a complete moron like me to do it if somebody gives me some hints/advice?
Guest Posted November 29, 2012 Posted November 29, 2012 I guess the skulls aren't part of any armor, if so you'd probably have to weight the skulls to the shoulders but I got no idea if you can do that in Nifskope. I only got basic knowledge of Nifskope and 3DS max.
thatTESguy Posted November 29, 2012 Posted November 29, 2012 You have to weigh in 3ds max/blender; you can copy models (with weights) between models in Nifskope as long as the skeleton has the appropriate bones.
Jormungandr Posted November 30, 2012 Author Posted November 30, 2012 So there is rocket science required, great. I've no idea about Blender or 3dsmax, but i know of some stuff that uses vanilla meshes, including skulls, it's mostly weapons but wouldn't that work?
