ruanku Posted January 20, 2019 Posted January 20, 2019 **Update: Also crashing on save game launch. New games crash on teleport. I keep crashing nearly every time I teleport anywhere. I get this error message in the console whenever I boot the game; [Error] can't parse json file at 'data/slnc.d/__folder_managed_by_vortex' at line 1:4 - '[' or '{' expected near 'This' I can't find any solutions or any reason for this issue; it was working fine yesterday. Some details: -- I use Vortex mod manager. Tried reinstalling JContainers and rebooting all the animations. FNIS reports no errors/warnings. I've rebuilt all the bodies with Bodyslide. --- I'm not all that familiar with all the terms and actions to take =/. Any help would be appreciated!
Guest Posted January 20, 2019 Posted January 20, 2019 Grab the file, zip it, and post it here. Maybe the file can be salvaged.

ruanku Posted January 20, 2019 Author Posted January 20, 2019 The previous one doesn't seem right, so I'll post the whole SLNC.d folder it's referencing as well. SLNC.d.7z

Akzyra Posted January 20, 2019 Posted January 20, 2019 Vortex and that mod being dumb I guess? it creates a file that it uses to manage something. But the mod thinks it is one if its configurations and can't read it because it is not. Should not cause a crash as it just can understand that file and probably ignores it.
Guest Posted January 20, 2019 Posted January 20, 2019 The three json files are valid. Try to simply remove the file called "__folder_managed_by_vortex". Looks like it is a dummy text file, and probably who is trying to read it thinks it should be a json file
ruanku Posted January 21, 2019 Author Posted January 21, 2019 Thanks for the help! I've removed the file and I'm crashing less frequently with no more error in the console, but I still crash with my save games. I'll try creating a new game later to see if those saves are just corrupted.
