hoss156 Posted November 27, 2012 Posted November 27, 2012 New problem I installed both NVSE Extender 11 in this form and nvse_3_beta2. When I start the game I get a message saying the mods require extender 9 or higher and I got version 5. How can this be?
srayesmanll Posted November 27, 2012 Posted November 27, 2012 Location of the installed items (usually). The NVSE files go in the same directory as the main FONV launcher (usually the "fallout new vegas" folder in the steamapps folder). The NVSE Extender files go in the ../data/nvse/plugins/ folder. Make sure to download the files, unzip them, and then place the included files in the specified folders (if I remember correctly, the NVSE package contains a readme saying where to install, if not then just read through nvse.silverlock.org site). DO NOT use a mod manager to install the downloaded packages, mod managers will install them in the data folder.
