idonotlikeusernames Posted November 27, 2012 Posted November 27, 2012 It seems, at least on my playthrough, that this quest cannot be completed with a male character. This has the unfortunate side effect of preventing quest six (which does have seem to have male dialogue options in the CS) from ever showing up in my game. Is this correct, am I missing something here, or is something in my installation possibly messed up?

If we can have a cloth modder make us a very fake maid costume for a male, I can simply add two oranges/apples requirement for a male player and go on with the quest as usual. Otherwise we need another "simple" solution. 3> Check male side possibility.

You could take some stock clothing, maybe something like overalls, make a new item and name it Janitor's Clothes. It could be hidden in the same place. Then the player shows up and says he is there to level a chair, table or the bed. The idea being that the piece of furniture is standing on three legs and needs some adjustment to keep from tilting back and forth. This happens to tables all the time, it seems, though the bed would be more in keeping with the spirit of CLS.

Some of the new priestesses have skills, one of them could be a tailor/seamstress. In a pinch, a physician would also be able to use a needle and thread well enough to do a little modifying. It would be a little more complicated but maybe that is a good thing. Something like this * Find maid's outfit * Seek extra cloth & something to serve as melons * Have priestess modify outfit CS showing the fitting (to get the humorous use of it) Story completes "normally" but with an extra couple of lines from Tifa when the player sneaks past her. "Finally a respectful outfit on one of the maids." "Strange, her legs are kind of hairy." My assumption her is that the top of the outfit needs to be closed up or the charade will be quite apparent. Those maid outfits don't leave much to the imagination.
idonotlikeusernames Posted December 2, 2012 Posted December 2, 2012 I think that with cloth maker, Grumpf is referring more to someone who has mastered the frustrations of both blender and the nifscripts for it in order to make a custom outfit. A cutscene with the fitting is a fun idea though. Though I think the priestesses would think to shave your legs (if they're not already, since I assume most elves male or female would naturaly tend to be fairly smooth already).

idonotlikeusernames Posted December 7, 2012 Posted December 7, 2012 If I recall correctly Hiyoko store (or something like that) includes a male overall in its lineup, also Slof did a nicer reworked version of it once, but good luck getting permission to use that in a female centric mod. Speaking of males, I noticed a guy named Deliam at present in the ending cutscenes, yet I cannot recall having even met him before. Also I thought the male player and possibly Han were the only males actively associated with the cult? Is he supposed to only join up if the player is female or is he part of some unfinished quest (dawnspire manor) or the aftermod mode?

With a little bit of retexturing I think it just might do for a janitor. And here's something that might do for a bit of crossdressing. http://oblivion.nexusmods.com/mods/36371 Ah, I guess I was just confused, still to add some more plausibility to the Janitor option I think the Tiber Septim hotel could potentially another male employee, regardless of his being actively involved in the cult or not.
