Possible Problem with Sexy Maid of Chorrol crossover content

I finished the quest where I save all the girls from that whore house and I got the portal in my house to go to the valhalla house. So apparently I can go in there and do stuff with my maids, but either there's something I still need to do or it's just not working as usual.

 

 

Of course the maid won't follow me up to that tower because she apparently can't figure out how to use the portal tat leads up there, but I just used tcl and coaxed her in the direction of the tower, so I know how to deal with that issue. The problem is this: I hit the switch and this text box pops up, I click done, and nothing happens. At all. What am I doing wrong?

It's been a while so I can't remember the specifics, but if this is happening with Stacey, you will need to listen to her story about Augusta. For Lucy, there is a dialogue line regarding the new Chorrol house sections that will allow her to follow you.
