Do I need the FOMM if I use Vortex?

So I decided to try sexout again on Fallout New Vegas while trying out other mods. Now recently Nexusmods created a new mod organizer called Vortex which is now their main mod organizer. Now rereading the installation guide for Sexout I now remember it said I need the Script Extender...extender which uses a custom made FOMM and it's recommended I use that FOMM. With Vortex is this FOMM still needed? Also it seems like there's a script extender extender on Nexus Mods now so would that work in place of the one on Lovers Lab?

Have either or you, or anyone else, tried it yet? If not, I'm thinking of backing up my game and testing it a bit, but I'd like to know if it's been attempted first.

That said FOMM is easy to use, so it wouldn't be that problematic for most people (I used to use SO mods with FOMM, just not in my latest playthough).

They work fine together but I got rid of Vortex.  A little too bloated, imo.

Never cared for any mod manager Nexus has made, they're all too bloated.

But for each their own.

I've been using vortex and it's been working fine so far.

How did you get the SCR resources to work with vortex? that's where I'm stuck
