Best ways to remove childhood phases? (without cheating)

I've tried googling multiple phrases to see if such a guide exists but mostly its "Help this phase does this!" or "heres the phases in Parenthood". I am looking for the best ways a parent in the game can get rid of childhood phases the quickest. A few of them are vague on what they mean, asking a teen about their loud phases and it says something like "influence me to be quiet." Well I can't find a 'be quiet' option under 'influence to'. Others are like 'help me with homework', well unfortunately a few of my teens are no longer in school so breaking that phase is more difficult.

 

So with that said, what are the easiest ways in game to break a teen out of the following phases. Rebellious, Loud, Distant, Mean
