Grumpf Posted November 13, 2012 Posted November 13, 2012 1. HotelExt Maids hat no icon (maybe thts was always the case) 2. HotelExt Maids clothes wrong icon (definatly new bug)
Grumpf Posted November 14, 2012 Author Posted November 14, 2012 1 Fixed thanks to Ark of Truth. 2 same.
Grumpf Posted November 23, 2012 Author Posted November 23, 2012 3 Warn about timescale somehow... 4 Not really part of it but I don't know where to put that so... Add dialogues with boat progression.
Grumpf Posted December 4, 2012 Author Posted December 4, 2012 3 will be done in the manual/WLK 4 done. Â Thread is flagged as solved until further notice.
Dilbert Posted December 6, 2012 Posted December 6, 2012 This seems like as good a place to mention this as any. The light flooding into the upper story of the hotel does so regardless of the time of day. That is to say at 2 in the morning, you still have morning sun streaming through the windows. Â Would it be possible to put that effect on a timer so that it only shows up between 7 and 17 each day? I know it is trivial, but I'm pretty sure it is easily done.
Grumpf Posted December 7, 2012 Author Posted December 7, 2012 Why not? Ok done. In this case I wonder if I shouldn't also change the lighting. Â Now keep in mind that this portion of the hotel is no longer in the same reality than the rest so the lighting doesn't specially have to follow Tamriel time/weather.
Grumpf Posted December 7, 2012 Author Posted December 7, 2012 Ok it works. It took me a while to figure out that OBlivion will not update the light until you exit the zone and re-enter it... Good enough! Â I'll post new esp for you to test!
Dilbert Posted December 18, 2012 Posted December 18, 2012 The timer on the light streams is working correctly. The windows themselves are still kind of bright, but maybe that is too much trouble to fix. In any case the "early morning" light rays at 3 in the morning are gone and that is what matters.  After completing the Lidya quest I waited until the next day (roughly 3 pm until about 5 am the following day) but Augusta still refuses to speak about the other candidates. I seem to recall having experienced this before. The timer is messed up, somehow. At least it is not using GameDay + 1, though it might be using some GameHour + x scheme. But if that is the case, it is set too long.  I'm using the 224 esp, just so that is clear.  EDIT: I dug through the mod and found the problem. In VToy01MainQuest script we have this block: if ( IsPCSleeping == 1) && (GetStage VToyQuest >= 160) && (GetStage VToyQuest < 170)&& (player.getincell VToyPool == 1 ) ;Printc "VT> PC slept in the new HQ" ; Player.MoveTo VToyGoddessDreamMarker SetStage VToyQuest 170 WakeUpPC endif  Which means that the player must sleep in the pool area to advance this quest to stage 170 and thus get the info on Sarah and the others. My character slept upstairs in the bedroom, which explains why the quest didn't advance.  Augusta did mention that the PCs accommodations are now downstairs, so I guess this just enforces that idea. But it seems more likely to cause confusion than help the story. If the room upstairs is no longer available to the character, change its ownership. That will compel the character to sleep in the pool area, if she stays at the hotel at all. But there was nothing that led me to believe that I would have to stay at the hotel. I might have sought accommodations elsewhere and returned after a week, only to hear that Augusta is still too tired to tell me the stories. My recommendation is to drop this limitation.
Grumpf Posted December 18, 2012 Author Posted December 18, 2012 Ok well it very complex as there are 3 quests involved and tons of dialog. If waiting an extra day fixes it I'll leave it like that as I can't find it right now...
Dilbert Posted December 18, 2012 Posted December 18, 2012 Hi Grumpf, maybe you missed my edit. It is not a timer problem at all, it is a location limitation I didn't expect and which I consider unnecessary. See my earlier post again, it explains it all.
Grumpf Posted December 19, 2012 Author Posted December 19, 2012 Got it now. Ok I changed it. If you fail Lidya and didn't sleep in the IC Hotel it makes the journal a bit strange but I doubt anyone will notice.
