Happysparkles Posted November 12, 2012 Posted November 12, 2012 Hello everyone, sorry for another one of my probably silly questions. I looked everywhere I can think in regards to making a GND model but have no clue how. I am so lost on it. I think I understand 2 parts of it. Positioning the model to zero and Flattening it (in some cases but mine will not be flat) My question is this, How do I actually make the GND model or can someone link / point me to a GREAT tutorial all it. Because I am not finding any tutorials on it X_X. Thanks -HS
Ark of Truth Posted November 12, 2012 Posted November 12, 2012 There isn't really a tutorial for it as a GND is just a normal mesh which appears when the item is dropped. Normally it's just a dress or something folded up. It doesn't have to be flat but it is advised.

Any tutorials or place I can find info on that? Btw Ty for replying
Ark of Truth Posted November 13, 2012 Posted November 13, 2012 No idea about that Your best bet is to find a GND you like and just edit that. Most people don't make GND for custom armors as people keep the armors in their inventory or stored somewhere.

This is true but I do it more as a contingency and it will be very useful for future planning
perfectioncat Posted November 13, 2012 Posted November 13, 2012 There are many similar things in GND-MODEL all. I extract NIF file of GND_MODEL from a BSA file of Oblivion properly and think that I change Texture and should use it. I do not know whether you serve as a reference, but attach a data file of Blender of GND_MODEL which I use.

I will dabble around it for a bit as well as play with some settings. Call me strange but I tend to look for items oblivion related when looking for tutorials (I see some on collision) but what I always fear is that it will not work in oblivion (like the materials don't ) Ty I will use it as a source
perfectioncat Posted November 14, 2012 Posted November 14, 2012 Because Nexus wiki has some useful information, I think that you should refer. Nexus Wiki
