WTF? Don't install XPMS and XPMSE. You need exactly one, XPMSE. Everything else is BS. To get everything for adult mods in the right order, click the "creatures" link in my sig. That's the most complete up-to-date guide.

Aren't those the same thing though o:?

No, they do the same thing: provide a skeleton. And in generalĀ it's a really bad idea to install two mods that do the same. The difference here is that xpms is terribly outdated, and xpmse is up-to-date.

I went in game, but when I tested it out, it didn't work, I was using the spell animations to see if it worked, but didn't hmm. This was a new game I used.

Ok, after having a second look on your screenshots... honestly i'd start from scratch.Ā

I can't help too much with the details though, i never tried Vortex and i have no intentions to do so, nor NMM. The only Mod manager i really know is M(od) O(rganizer), and the first two tutorials in my sig use that, and MO has some point were it's quite different to other tools. There are other guides for other tools, though. Whichever you use, make sure you get how it works.

Ā

So here some general things:

1. You need to know which version of Skyrim you have (use), LE or SE.

2. Only install mods that fit your version. You've mixed there a lot. If you have SE, to get started just don't even leave the download section for SE and the other way around.

3. Be cautious if you install mods that are >2-3 years old. There is a chance they work. But there's also a chance they're abandoned for a reason, and/or there are newer versions of it. And the old ones may be incompatible with newer mods.

Would I have to uninstall everything? Can I just disable them

Vortex is unable to remove mods by unchecking them, you'd need MO to do that. You might tripple check if the mods and especially their versions are what you actually need but honestly, i'd rather remove them all and download what i need just because that's faster. If your internet connection really sucks it might be worth the time but otherwise yes, you need to uninstall everything, it's not worth keeping mods you can't use anyways.Ā

Yes I suppose so, that was the reason I was concerned because our internet is downright awful, like 16mbps. But I’ll have to then.
