visagezero Posted November 13, 2018 Posted November 13, 2018 Melodic just released this amazing outfit with bodyslide, and I want to create a replacer for it with my vanilla daedric armor set. I'm trying to combine the belly, top, and panties together onto my UNPB body, but I'm having issues. First of all, none of the pieces are directly linked to slot 46 (chest), meaning that the female body itself is not built onto the "top" chest mesh. I basically went into Outfit Studio, imported the three meshes and my female body together, and then hit "Export with referrence" on both the minimum weight meshes and the maximum weight meshes before renaming them to the DaedricArmor0 and DaedricArmor1 nifs. When I get ingame to test it out, the gloves and boots show without a problem, but I did something wrong when I tried to combine the meshes in outfit studio for the body, and the pieces are invisible. However, my female's body still shows. Some research shows that in order to combine meshes correctly, I have to do something like set Skeleton Roots to 0 in BSDismemberSkinInstances, and I have no idea how to make it work for bodyslide weights. I feel like there is a simple but not so obvious solution to combining meshes together that a novice like me wouldn't know. Maybe somebody could combine it for me. I can upload my female body, the armor meshes/textures all converted to fit it. Or maybe you can figure out what I did wrong with the file through Nifskope. daedrictorsof_0.nif daedrictorsof_1.nif
Ezarr Posted November 14, 2018 Posted November 14, 2018 Make sure every skin body partition (SBP) are pointing to the same slot. For example, if body is in slot 32, all the other armor pieces should be set to slot 32. You do this by double clicking the line that I marked with red. Then type the number of the slot, in this case it would be 32. Someone gave me a link to this, it is useful for understanding body slots:Meaningful slots: http://wiki.tesnexus.com/index.php/Skyrim_bodyparts_number You find partitions by selecting BSDismemberSkinInstance. There is a BSDismemberSkinInstance for every piece of armor in the nif file.
