lurkerfrombelow Posted November 10, 2012 Posted November 10, 2012 Got a working installation of Lovers with various mods set up, and everything seems to be in order. However, I seem to accumulate stat damage as I play (and get raped etc.). Specifically, something keeps applying penalties to strength, endurance and willpower. I can see nothing mentioned under 'active effects', so I have no idea what causes it and if it is permanent. I run the original LoversRaperS, and I seem to recall stat damage being an option in one of the other editions, but there is nothing in the setting spell for RaperS about it. Is RaperS the cause, or any other lover-related mod? How do I remove this penalty? player.setav only sets the base value, and I can't see any other console command that would let me see and remove hidden permanent? effects. Disabling RaperS didn't remove the damage either. Any help would be appreciated.
Ark of Truth Posted November 10, 2012 Posted November 10, 2012 Load order and screenshot of the problem please.
Sarnaath Posted November 10, 2012 Posted November 10, 2012 A list of your load order would help. Right off the top of my head, Shadowrunner's version of RaperS has stat damage as an option. LoversStats also, I think, can inflict stat damage when your PC gets raped. Finally, PlayerSlaveEncounters inflicts willpower damage when your PC is enslaved. The most recent versions of PSE will damage strength and endurance through training at the slaver camp (I think the ogre specifically does this). Removing the penalty: you can console restore attribute potions, or visit an alter if your fame is greater than your infamy. If you have Bravil Underground the Molag Bal shine will work even if your character has greater infamy (aside from other alters for infamous characters in vanilla Oblivion, see previous link).

Sarnaath Posted November 10, 2012 Posted November 10, 2012 My guess is PSE. Has your character been enslaved? Been to the slaver's camp?

My RaperS is just vanilla with no such option listed (but it could perhaps do it by default with no config options). I do have PSE, though these were penalties that came without ever visiting the slaver camp. Praying at a shrine restored all the attributes to their proper values though, so thanks alot for that tip. I can't believe it's been so long since my last oblivion stint that I completely forgot about alters I'm still curious which mod applied them, but with an immersive repeatable method of restoring, I can live with it as an extra danger during adventures before returning to the safety of civilization.
Sarnaath Posted November 10, 2012 Posted November 10, 2012 My RaperS is just vanilla with no such option listed (but it could perhaps do it by default with no config options). The other RaperS version I've used recently is this one. I've never gotten any attribute penalties with it. If that's the version you use then I'd expect something else is to blame. Anyways, I'm happy to hear you could repair the damage at an alter.
mem4ob4 Posted November 13, 2012 Posted November 13, 2012 Check your LoversSpermSplashEx spell- cumsettings I think its called, it is a lesserpower. The effects that it lets you toggle off is stat damage. mem
morvo Posted November 18, 2012 Posted November 18, 2012 Harlock's versions of joburg and raperS cause accumulated damage to strength/will and endurance. looks like you have that. to restore your stats do player.modav not player.setav
