About

 

FO4 conversion of Aradia's Living Armor with Jexsam's retexture. Glow map added for effect.

 

NOTE: This has only been tested on my system. Your mileage may vary.

 

 

How to Install

 

Drag and drop into any mod manager, or extract directly into your FO4 directory.

 

 

How to Get

 

Option A.) An item named "Pulsating Collar" can be found sitting on the ground near Swan's Pond, partially hidden inside one of the dark bushes.

 

Option B.) Type "Help Symbiote 4 ARMO" into the console to find the form ID, then use "player.additem xxx 1" to add the armor to your inventory, where xxx is the form ID.

I'm looking into a basic "sex = more armor" mechanic and/or a small quest, although I'm currently unfamiliar with FO4's scripting engine, so I'm trying to draw info on that from any sources I can find before giving it a go. (There's unfortunately not as much out there for FO4 as there is for Skyrim, which use the same engine but are different in a significant enough way.)

Looks good, though i wouldn't mind some mod and color options for it.  It's says "symbiote", but i'm not sure what it does that regular armor doesn't do.  Beyond looking really cool, that is.

I took some time and opened this up in Nifskope and I was able to remove the CBBE body from the file and wear this over other armors. It matches well with the darker ones for me so far.

I like this a lot but it freaks out on my character and causes a weird black film to appear while wearing it.

You should try the trick I used, that will remove the body part of the file. If you aren't familiar with nifskope I can build it for you with whatever preset you prefer.

I'm unfamiliar but I would be interested in either learning how to do it or having it made.

i edited it in outfit studio and completely removed the body, just replace the one in Fallout 4\Data\Meshes\Snapdragon\Symbiote with the one in this file and it should work

Not again-.- A similar Mod brought me here, and just with like with that mod, clicking on view file results in ll telling me the mod aint there, but unlike the last mod there is not link to the download of this mod in its descriptions, so where could i find this? or is this just not avaible anymore? Nevermind, i just remembered that a link to this mod was on the mega-download page of the other mod, my brain does not work correctly today

I edited my Comment, the fuck is it not showing what i added to it? I have the Mod already, i found it on a Mega-Drive Site, where i also got that other Mod from, thats what brought me here in the first Place, to a little Research on what this Mod is, thanks anyhow

But, while i have someones Attention, can you tell me why it isnt showing in-Game? The Collar isnt where its supposed to be and the Command Console has no Clue what im on about when looking for it, its in my Modlist, but it doesnt even appear in my Pluginlist (Vortex)
