BukkakeSlim Posted October 25, 2018 Posted October 25, 2018 Damned gorgeous! Honestly just glad to see new models, and this whole set looks EXTREMELY well done.
Sursed Posted October 27, 2018 Posted October 27, 2018 Great work! Please, consider making a lighter version of the armor too, With some leather parts under the steel plates (pants, sleeves etc).

ZeroListGram Posted October 29, 2018 Posted October 29, 2018 I'd really appreciate it if this was available as a replacer as well, maybe for the Ebony Armor set. I particularly like that it's realistic and tries to be historically accurate -- as well as that this is an armor set for both genders (without boobplates even! ?) I wonder if you'd be interested in creating more realistic/practical looking armor replacers for the heavy/heavier armors in the game which still feel somewhat thematic. I'm talking specifically about the Dwarven, Glass, and Dragonbone sets. Perhaps even the Orcish set, and the Blades armor, though those are largely fine, and I'd just replace them as a matter of preference.
ObsydianShade Posted October 30, 2018 Posted October 30, 2018 Most impressive, and good to see someone else who appreciates the beauty and functionality of historical armors, over impractical fantasy types! I certainly encourage you to keep up the work on what appears to be a gorgeous mod! Maybe for you next project after this, we can see a suit of Milanese or even Maximilian plate!
Guest Posted October 31, 2018 Posted October 31, 2018 Looks great, can't wait for it's release. And the author has such good tastes in weaponry too

Looks good, I will test it out in a second. Also I can add the Great Lance for you, but as it is right now I don't have enough votes to do anything yet, and people are really indecisive, with only 1 vote on 7 different categories. Also download the new update, it fixes the white border around the transparent part of the Lothric Knight Long Spear cloth.
SmedleyDButler Posted November 4, 2018 Posted November 4, 2018 A proper 'weight_1' version shouldn't be too hard to set up either.
y_sengaku Posted November 4, 2018 Posted November 4, 2018 Hello, first of all, really thank you for the first release of your armor mod. It looks really solid and functional! As for _1.nif for the male model, I made a really quick and dirty edit with help of SAM reference body (that has weight 0 to 100), attaching the package below. If you don't mind, please check the meshes and use as you like. GPA_weight_slider_suppported_m_meshes.7z The following mainly focus on the visual glitch on male model: The neck of open-typed helm was too narrow for my male character even with weight 0. The closed version had few problems (though I failed in creating weight 100 version of this one, since the visor part NiTrishape did not follow the weight slider). Is it possible to creat separate greaves also for male? Otherwise the legs will dissapear when trying to put them on male legs, as shown in the second SS.

SmedleyDButler Posted November 5, 2018 Posted November 5, 2018 If we haven't installed the original yet, the hotfix is actually standalone and can simply be installed as-is, correct?
ObsydianShade Posted November 14, 2018 Posted November 14, 2018 Having tested the armor in game, I can say it looks good, but there are a couple of points with it I do disagree with. The first being it should be "bulked up" a bit, because it's apparent that you aren't taking into account that the character is apparently wearing a full set of mail, (judging by what I can see protecting the gaps) or at the very least, a heavily reinforced arming doublet. As it stands, the female suit just feels too slender to be what it is. I'm also not totally sold on that design for the gauntlets, as they don't seem to correspond to the historical ones I'm familiar with. Unfortunately, because of the structure of the vambraces, I can't simply substitute a pair from one of the Witcher or Dark Souls sets of plate armors, though I can wear the helmets with the suit. Otherwise, I'd say this is an excellent set on the whole, and applaud the effort it must have taken to reproduce something this complex in the game. I hope you'll continue your work in this vein, and that we'll see more from you soon!
Assassinborn Posted July 25, 2024 Posted July 25, 2024 (edited) I've been trying to convert this for SE using Cathedral Assets Optimizer, but haven't been having any luck. Anybody had any personal success or have any tips? Edit: Got it to work. All it takes is the usual importing through cathedral or nif optimizer. I had to do a couple extra steps though; race groups for this armor exclude Bretons, you have to add those in creation kit. It's not too difficult, just make sure defaultrace is the main race and additional races has BretonRace in it. By default it's set to nordmanequin or something. Edited July 25, 2024 by Assassinborn 2
