Launch Game, Get a black screen that I have to Ctrl alt Delete

I have modded the hell out of this game, and this isn't the first time to do this, but I decided to start over.

 

First I took an old Data folder that I copied from my most recent install and use it as my fresh start. It only had a couple minor mods that I've had since the modding began long ago and have had no problems with.

 

Secondly I began to add my mods and clear out my NMM mods.

 

I updated SKSE and ran both BOSS and TES5Edit with WryhBash. Also ran FNISforUsers just to be sure I didn't miss anything.

 

I Attempted a launch and got a black screen that never loaded into anything more than a black screen, and then I turned off all of my mods and did everything in the last paragraph and got the same result.

 

Any ideas?

did you've checked about missing *.STRINGS ?

Just when you think you've learned something someone has to go and ask you one of those questions that make ya go "hu?"

 

There's probably a thread for how to do that, hu? Alright.. I'll go learn that and see if that is the problem.

hmmm.. I got no idea. This is what I have in the Strings department.

Have you verified the game cache?

 

- Launch Steam.

- Right-click on Skyrim (listed in your library) and choose Properties.

- Click on Local Files tab.

- Click the 'Verify the Integrity of Game Cache'.

 

Hopefully this will fix the problem.
