pinocchio6 Posted November 6, 2012 Posted November 6, 2012 I have modded the hell out of this game, and this isn't the first time to do this, but I decided to start over. First I took an old Data folder that I copied from my most recent install and use it as my fresh start. It only had a couple minor mods that I've had since the modding began long ago and have had no problems with. Secondly I began to add my mods and clear out my NMM mods. I updated SKSE and ran both BOSS and TES5Edit with WryhBash. Also ran FNISforUsers just to be sure I didn't miss anything. I Attempted a launch and got a black screen that never loaded into anything more than a black screen, and then I turned off all of my mods and did everything in the last paragraph and got the same result. Any ideas? Thanks.
pinocchio6 Posted November 6, 2012 Author Posted November 6, 2012 Just when you think you've learned something someone has to go and ask you one of those questions that make ya go "hu?" There's probably a thread for how to do that, hu? Alright.. I'll go learn that and see if that is the problem.
pinocchio6 Posted November 6, 2012 Author Posted November 6, 2012 hmmm.. I got no idea. This is what I have in the Strings department.
PsychoMachina Posted November 7, 2012 Posted November 7, 2012 Have you verified the game cache? - Launch Steam. - Right-click on Skyrim (listed in your library) and choose Properties. - Click on Local Files tab. - Click the 'Verify the Integrity of Game Cache'. Hopefully this will fix the problem.
