No idea what's causing it, both SKSE and Racemenu are at their newest versions, maybe could be XPMSE but I don't think so? Any help would be appreciated. Guest Posted October 17, 2018 Posted October 17, 2018 Just update the game on Steam. Then update SKSE. All other mods are already updated for this version.
sagar7 Posted October 18, 2018 Author Posted October 18, 2018 So I checked to update on Steam, it apparently already was judging from a lack of pending updates. I also verified the game cache to be sure. Then I did a clean reinstall of SKSE, pulled all the old files out and put in the newest version (2.0.10, which I think I already had). Still came with the same result; Racemenu expected game version is 1.5.53 and I apparently have 1.5.39. Racemenu is also at the latest version. Given that I did everything I could think of, I'm thinking to just completely redo this SSE installation since I hadn't played it much but if there's still any way to fix this, I'd much rather have that. Thanks so far.

I'd REALLY like to avoid reinstalling because I have an incredibly slow internet connection. EDIT: I fixed the issue by simply deleting the skse64_1_5_39.dll file that was apparently left over from a previous installation (Data\SKSE\Plugins)

Please reinstall your SKSE Scripts to match your version NiOverride plugin not detected. Various features may be unavailable. Invalid CharGen script detected (2) expected (4). Error Codes: (0)(1)(3)" I updated Racemenu, and skse64. and re-enabled them using vortex. But it didn't fix it. I don't find NiOverride plugin anywhere, but I saw in other posts it wasn't normally required anymore ? Can someone help me please ?
