thesnakexd Posted November 4, 2012 Posted November 4, 2012 I installed MBP1.4a + MBP ++0.98a +x117 ++078+Aio, and it has a lot of custom races i like but also some i would like to get rid of. But i don't know how, i tried TES CS, but had no idea what i was doing...
Juno Posted November 4, 2012 Posted November 4, 2012 Well this is easy. 1.Open CS, choose and set as active the esp of the race mod you want to work with and click ok. 2.After it loads,on top click character -> race 3.It opens up a window where in the left you can see all races vanilla + custom, to delete the ones you dont need simply right click on them and choose delete. 4.When you are done with deleting, click on the top left, file -> save and then close CS.
Symon Posted November 4, 2012 Posted November 4, 2012 Alternatively, if you want to be less radical, just mark them non-playable.
Ark of Truth Posted November 4, 2012 Posted November 4, 2012 Alternatively' date=' if you want to be less radical, just mark them non-playable. [/quote'] You have to do this. If you delete the race some NPCs will have no bodies and it will mess up some plugins.
thesnakexd Posted November 4, 2012 Author Posted November 4, 2012 Okay, i understand a bit but i have a question regarding saving the changes. I notice that when i delete the races off a esp, it goes from say 40kb to 1kb. And when i reopen the edited esp it is an empty esp.
Ark of Truth Posted November 4, 2012 Posted November 4, 2012 Sounds like you managed to break it completely. Unpack it again but don't delete anything just make them non-playable.
gregathit Posted November 5, 2012 Posted November 5, 2012 Deleting races is a terrible idea especially for MBP plugins. Many other plugins require that you have them and you will end up screwing yourself. As others have said just mark them non-playable. You may also need to be using the CS with OBSE.
