Does anyone know how copyright on youtube works?, anyone here has a youtube channel? From what i managed to learn is that copyright claim and copyright strike are different things. i hear from some people that copyright claims are not a problem, but in some other places i heard that three copyright claims can result in a channel becoming banned. honestly the whole copyright thing on youtube is confusing me, a lot. i deleted two videos just because they got claims, i thought claims are the same as strikes somehow. i wish to upload more content on my channel but because my videos contained someone else's music they got claims and that kinda freaks me out. i do not make any monetary gain from my videos and i do not intend to make any. all of my videos are just harmless shitposts.

3 copyright stick get's your channel banned. copyright claim means your video contains stuff from someone else's content like music and such. If you don't wanna earn money from your videos and just wanna post videos then look up copyright deadlock. it's a good way to give the middle finger to youtube and the company claiming the videos.

Since I've agreed to 3rd party claims, I don't have anything to do, channel remains green.

Miss this agreement and you'll get your strike, that's inevitable. And don't try to fool 'em.
