Detect spawning aliens?

Hello, I'd like to 'befriend' an alien and as far as I'm informed, there is a 5% chance every night that one visits your lot and a 20% chance that one spawns anywhere in the neighborhood.

 

My question is if there is any way to detect them spawing, through NRaas' Master Controller or Overwatch for example?

 

 

 

Edit: I've found a workaround for the time being:

• Open the console and type in 'testingcheatsenabled on'
• Shift-click on the mailbox with a Sim you don't care about
• Use the 'Make Me Know Everyone' option
• Invite the desired alien
• Talk to the alien with the desired Sim
• ???
• Babies,

From town view, you can usually see the multicolored glittering lights for where they're at.

NRAAS Master Controller Cheats.

NOT from Town view, from play view (get the camera on the ground)

TOWN HALL->NRAAS->MC->Sim->Focus->Alien

A list of aliens will show up

I don't know of any way to make an alert when they arrive, just gotta check.
