I'm looking for someone to adapt an existing clothing item by Scorpy_CFS { Scorpy_CFS Wet Look Leggings at TSR } so they are in the Clothing Bottom section of the game. The problem I'm trying to fix is that when my simette is wearing them as bottoms (without anything else), the other sims respond to her as though she's naked. I realize that Wicked Whims changes this a bit, but I'd rather get rid of that reaction completely where this clothing is concerned. I spent a few hours trying to do this myself using Sims 4 Studio and learned quite a bit, but in the end I made the mistake of applying it to the nude mesh, which provoked the same response (something I didn't think of until after... d'oh!), and the mesh didn't fit right either. I don't have time to work on this anymore, so I'm asking you guys, the experts here, if you can change this up for me. The biggest problems I have: I don't know what I'm doing, and I don't have time to learn thanks to work and deadlines, and tights don't have meshes, so I'd have to make or borrow the right one. What I like about this piece of clothing: They use the game's specular (lighting, reflection, etc...) settings in the engine to make the bottoms look reflective, so they look right in the game unlike many latex / leather / silk garments with painted highlights that don't move or look natural. I also have a thing for shiny tights! So, I hope this is a 10 minute task for someone who knows what they're doing, because the effort would take more time than I have. Thank you!
Holzfrau Posted October 4, 2018 Posted October 4, 2018 I'm not very good with Sims 4 Studio either, but I was able to retool them to be in the Bottoms/Skintight category. I could only figure out how to do it as an override though, the tights won't show up in Leggings any more if you use this. I only did a very quick test in-game, and they don't appear to provoke a nude reaction at least. [Removed - new version below]
