Hey guys i recently reinstalled skyrim with mod manager and since i always seemed to have issues with creature framework, i ws wondering if someone knew about an alternative or simpler version for it instead.

The only one I know of is the old SLNC (Sexlab Nude Creatures). It's obsolete and unsupported but still works (I was using it until recently). You'll also need Creature Features to go with it (which is also obsolete) and maybe Horny Dogs of Skyrim as well.

I found it worked well but bear in mind it only has the basic standard creatures (Bears, Wolves, Dogs, Trolls and so on) it doesn't have any of the Dragonborn creatures, Atronanchs, Hagravens and that sort of thing as it doesn't work with most of the MNC animations. It doesn't have a cloak (afaik) it just sticks dicks on creatures when SL animations fire.

Might be worth a try on a new test game to see how it works out if CF is giving you problems, but as I said it's unsupported now so it's at your own risk.

All this time i thought i was using the right version of creatures framework that was packed with old MNC 9.0 but apparently the current newest is version 1.1.0 pre2, right? No wonder it worked so bad for me before. I guess i was just being bit foggy or something. It's been ages since li last reinstalled skyrim so I'm making  lot of rookie mistakes. The major reason why i wanted an alternative is because most of the time it just didn't seem to work correctly or taxed papyrus way too much then it should be. Thanks for the reply though and it seems the newest one i found here on loverslab seems to work far better. :) I guess we all have our own slow and stupid days.
