Asariphile Posted October 29, 2012 Posted October 29, 2012 rapidgator really does out of its way to annoy you into paying. They also look really REALLY shady. I would like to download some of these games hosted there but I don't know if I want to trust them with my info. Anyone know if they can be trusted with credit\debit card data?
spartan0078 Posted November 4, 2012 Posted November 4, 2012 They are really shady, that's why they are hosting links to pirated games lol! Only issue I have with them is the terrible download speeds for free downloading. Getting 300kb/s out of my 4.3mb/s normal speeds!
GSBmodders Posted November 4, 2012 Posted November 4, 2012 Anyone know if they can be trusted with credit\debit card data? all the p2p sites I use regularly list rapidgator as an ok host, they still fall below the excellent and great filehost's. but they are not on the do not trust/buy from list. the current top file hosts are listed as being depositfiles, rapidshare, extabit and ryushare the current do not trust buy from list is fiberupload, and filevelocity if you do not need to buy a membership just yet then i suggest waiting. megaupload will soon be back with raid proof servers. more info can be found here http://torrentfreak.com/
Irishredneck Posted November 4, 2012 Posted November 4, 2012 I have a subscript to RapidGator. JDownloader (An awesome tool) refuses to work with RG. I won't be re-newing RG. Oh, and GSB... I wonder HOW they will be "raid proof". The long arm of Obama-law will find a way.

So the file you upload gets broken down into parts, the parts are then scattered to the 4 winds. the feds wont be able to just waltz in and seize them. A few other file sharing services are fallowing mu's lead on this and are switching over one other thing the new MU will use is ME.GA instead of .com making it even more difficult for hollywood dick suckers. one thing to remember is that the internet is not the united states, a lot of other nations are getting sick of america telling them to eat shit
Irishredneck Posted November 5, 2012 Posted November 5, 2012 Dude.. I am right there with you. I could not agree more. ("Hollywood dick suckers" That made me laugh. This whole thing got started because a gay porno company saw their cock suckers being shared) But.. as we have already learned.. Nothing is "anything proof". Bullet proof, isn't. Condoms break. Umbrellas only block the inevitable. I'll get a paying subscription to Me.GA (I always do. Oron. Mega. Gator.) and it WILL go belly up about a month after I buy 90 days of access.
Asariphile Posted November 11, 2012 Author Posted November 11, 2012 megaupload will soon be back with raid proof servers. I had no idea Megaupload was making a comeback. This has made my day!
