All the pillory animations spawn a device for the animations. I was hoping for animations that trigger when the PC is already locked into a device. They'd be pretty simple since the PC cann't move. Hmm.. wasn't it done with Prison Overhaul? I don't know. I haven't been able to use Prison Overhaul for a long time now. It has too many issues. In Devious Framework and Immersive BDSM all the NPC's do is punch you, I guess. Perhaps the animations would have to be done specifically for these mods? Any sex scenes, the furniture disappears mysteriously and then it reappears and you are locked in it again after the sex scene.
t.ara Posted September 14, 2018 Posted September 14, 2018 hi, as far I can imagine is such a "paired animation" always only working, if they both get a "full reset", so that both animations will become suiting. ZAP has the possibility to use a paired animation and to correct the alignment by the way, sexLab offers it. There are lot of different variations build in and they got it´s use by maria eden and the poh - mod as far I have in mind. And "yes", the used pillory in that scenes has to be "exchanged", so to suit to the overall alignment as far I remember. Using an existing furniture with a "paired" animation would be a mess for a quest-scripting probably. Some furnitures are used 180 degree from opposite, nearly all of them have different coordinates and are off-centered. I personally would change this, by offering to such a sort of furnitures a second seat where the second actor has to start from. If then both would begin by scripting together, the furniture itself could align the both actors and the quest-script only tells them, to start together and to finish together. - so far my theoretical "wishful-thinking".... I do not regret, that for now I never used paired animations, as I never had an idea, how to start this in game to look, how it is coming up together. More interesting to me seems to be to Create two different animations syncronical with two different or more NPC, which is no problem inside a 3d-software, but to start them together is another thing. If you have your girl for example inside of a furniture, there has to "ring a bell" (cell-scan), and suddenly a "raper" is standing behind her and starts it´s job...if such a script could be created with the most less consuming of papyrus, this maybe a nice possibility for the future...I personally prefer those sort of stuff, that has a "randomly-ongoing" action. We have (and I told it somewhere else) Saadia running inside of the bannered mare behind us, as soon we use a furniture, like a chair...this "scan" is perfect enough, to perform such an action between player and an npc. And this can be taken very much well, as it does never fail...it´s perhaps something like a force-greet, combined with a script. I´ll in future try to concrete ideas like that and maybe it´s something, which could be used to create such interaction, if you get caught into specific furniture-like a bed or a pole-etc...suiting items (also the scripts) could be then offered by the resource, but the quest-modder has to put the scene himself together inside of a seperate mod.
