watevir Posted September 7, 2018 Posted September 7, 2018 I'm trying to get bodyslide to work on my copy of skyrim and while it does just fine on changing the body it does not seem to work on my mods i'm using the version found here which is supposedly the latest version it seems as though it does not recognize my having any mods not installed via steam i'm using mod organizer v2.1.5 and FNIS seems to see things just fine along side LOOT the only tool having issues is bodyslide
watevir Posted September 7, 2018 Author Posted September 7, 2018 NVM figured it out having relooked through everything turns out cbbe and bodyslide are considered two separate mods by both nexus and mod organizer *FACEPALM* kinda figured it was something stupid
watevir Posted September 7, 2018 Author Posted September 7, 2018 ok now i'm getting a problem with appearances in game things look like this   according to bodyslide it should look like this  What am I doing wrong here? Â
RW311 Posted September 7, 2018 Posted September 7, 2018 Screenshot your preset and outfit setting in bodyslide that built this, looks like you have built a unp body mesh but are using cbbe textures so your outfit needs to be of a cbbe body type.

Don't do that. If you use MO, don't try to get anything running outside of it. It might not be impossible, but it's definitly not worth to bother with the trouble it causes. If there is really a mod on steam that can't be found anywhere else, download it via steam, zip it, put it into the download folder from MO and install from there, then delete it from the workshop.  CBBE and bodyslide are two entirely different mods, to handle them that way is not stupid at all.  Other than that RW311 is right, looks like your meshes don't fit our textures, either the one or the other way around.
RW311 Posted September 7, 2018 Posted September 7, 2018 That is for the naked body, so I should have specified what is the character wearing in the screenshot? The body you build in that screen is just going to be your naked body this will not affect any outfit that uses the body slot, so any outfit you install needs to either be made for your body type (cbbe) or have bodyslide files to convert the visible body to the cbbe body.
Nazzzgul666 Posted September 8, 2018 Posted September 8, 2018 Although a bit hard to see, i'm 95% sure those are the DD nipple piercings and nothing else, they don't equip to the bodyslide and the character is considered naked.
RW311 Posted September 8, 2018 Posted September 8, 2018 Ok, so it's just the wrong body texture somehow because the top piercing looks like it would match up to the preset so the body was built fine. Â So either this is not a dd outfit and is actually something that uses slot 32 and has the wrong body mesh for your texture or the bodyslide preview is loading from the correct texture folder but the game is loading from somewhere else which would be an issue with your mod manager I would guess. I have never used MO but I gather you can select folder overwrites somehow and if you have multiple texture mods this is what you need to look at. Â Bodyslide preview will correctly show if the textures it loads don't match the body mesh of the outfit you are using including the naked body.
watevir Posted September 10, 2018 Author Posted September 10, 2018 Sorry for the Delay RL caught up with me badly, Yes all I have on in there is the Devious Devices piercings in that image and I didn't even notice them until you guys pointed them out because I was getting the naked comments from the local NPCs. Also, how would i go about trying to zip up the Steam files? Most of them i have not found elsewhere.

Nazzzgul666 Posted September 11, 2018 Posted September 11, 2018 Just follow the guide, word by word. If it says start the launcher you start the launcher, not SKSE.
