The Amazing World of Bikini as a Replacer

Hey everyone,

 

So I tried attempting to replace vanilla armor with The Amazing World of Bikini armor .  As you know, The Amazing World of Bikini comes in various pieces of armor.  I thought it was be simple as opening up Outfit Studio and choosing various pieces as zap sliders to create it as one type of armor, exporting the nif, then renaming it, and replacing it with the vanilla file. In game, it only shows the bikini piece, not the thongs, shoulder pieces, thigh pieces, etc...that I choose with it. Anybody know why its only showing the bikini part and not the other pieces?

 

I'm using Rob's TMBE body replacer and the The Amazing World of Bikini conversion for the TMBE body.

From what I remember doing this for something else similar, what you would need to be looking at is the outfits and changing them rather than changing the meshes for the armours as the vanilla armour only has 4 items, helm, cuirass, gloves and boots, those could be done with mesh renames, anything else would need to be added to the various outfits, and those new outfits used as default outfits for the various npc's.

 

For example the ;

 

ArmorLeatherNoHelmetOutfit [OTFT:00057A2D]

 

Contains ;

 

ArmorLeatherBoots "Leather Boots" [ARMO:00013920]

ArmorLeatherGauntlets "Leather Bracers" [ARMO:00013921]

ArmorLeatherCuirass "Leather Armor" [ARMO:0003619E]

 

Changing it to something like this;

 

00LBAgaunt "Leather Gauntlets" [ARMO:7F00182B]

00LBAboot "Leather Padded Boots" [ARMO:7F00182D]

00LBAthong1 "Leather Thong A" [ARMO:7F001DA5]

00LBAbikini3 "Leather Bikini C" [ARMO:7F001DAB]

00LBAbelt1 "Leather Belt" [ARMO:7F001DA3]

 

Would then equip any npc using that outfit with those bikini pieces, do be aware that unless the bikini armour pieces have male meshes attached then it could look very odd when used on male npc's.  Though having just checked it looks like males use vanilla armours of the appropriate materials in this case leather armour.
