grallonsphere Posted September 1, 2018 Posted September 1, 2018 So in my constant effort to assemble the most diverse stable of young studs, I attempted to port a follower originally created by NeusKharp: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/87051 The problem is not that the port was unsuccessful - it was. However the creator chose to use a body nif that isn't naked. So of course I replaced that with the nifs from SAM light (body, hands, feet). I also replaced the corresponding textures with those from SAM, as I did with 2 other followers from the same creator. However in this case, there's a seam at the neck and a gap at the feet: The other problem is that he/she chose to assign a 70/100 body weight to someone who looks no more than 15 ( sigh ... ). Changing the weight in game (setnpcweight xx) produces an instant CTD. Editing the weight in the CK - instant CTD. I started a new game *after* editing the weight in XEdit, and while the weight looked finally more normal, the neck seam and feet gap remained.
grallonsphere Posted September 2, 2018 Author Posted September 2, 2018 Aaannd once again I'm not getting anywhere with this. After reducing the weight in Xedit and starting a new game I got what I wanted but there was a gap at the neck on top of the gap at the feet. In fact the feet looked overlarge when compared to the weight 30 body (originally 70). I don't understand how the general weight as defined in the mod doesn't apply to all the body's components. This custom NPC also appeared to have been created using a custom race (with a female head as base). Well I've wasted enough time on this. Thanks for all the help people.
