Loot complaining about non existing loops

Curious if anyone else has been running into this.

I never used to have this issue with previous versions of Loot, but lately I've been getting errors in Loot complaining about non existent cyclic load order rules when mods are assigned to certain non default groups. For instance if I change the meta data for both Immersive College of Winterhold and KS Dragon Overhaul to assign them to low priority overrides with all other settings at the default and the patches I have for both of those mods (Thunderchild patch for KS Dragon Overhaul, CRF, ELFX patch for ICOW left at default settings), Loot tells me it can't sort because I have cyclic load order issues with all of those mods/patches. If I leave ICOW assigned to low priority overrides and change KS Dragon Overhaul to High priority overrides, and leave all of the patches assigned to default then it sorts fine.

I've had similar issues with other combinations of mods that have no load order conflicts but which Loot claims do have conflicts. So far I've always been able to resolve it by just assigning the mods that it's complaining about to a different group that would result in Loot putting it in the same place it normally would but it's getting annoying.  I typically leave most of my mods in the default group and don't care what Loot does with them.  The ones where I have a specific order I want though I do a combination of reassigning them to different groups or telling them to load after specific other mods so Loot will put things exactly where I want.
