F4SE not launching

OK, I restarted my computer, steam loaded during the boot process.

 

Now I'm out of my wits. Right after the boot, the F4SE desktop icon as well as the launcher in NMM started the vanilla game launcher instead of bypassing it and going right into the game. Starting the game through the launcher resulted in F4SE mods no longer working - so F4SE wasn't even active.

 

I reinstalled the latest F4SE version (it is still build 0.611, isn't it?) and now only the black DOS window pops up for the fraction of a second an nothing happens. Uninstalled, dropped the F4SE files manually into their folders. Still, nothing.

Nevermind.

 

I don't know what went wrong but creating a new alias by sending it to the desktop took care of the issue.
