Problems with Fertility/Birth Control?

Ok so I'm playing on long lifespan with menstruation fertility active.  I'm noticing some bizarre problems though.  One of my sims has condoms in her inventory and refuses to stop auto using them no matter what.  I disallow auto-use for her, which has worked for other sims in the past, but she still uses them.  I even disabled auto-using birth control completely in the WW settings itself and she still won't stop using them.  I can't sell or delete them either which makes this a consistent problem if I want her to get pregnant.

Also, I'm not sure if this is a bug or just how long lifespan fertility works, but she has been testing at 0% chance to get pregnant every single day for something like a week now.  She had her period during that week but she was testing at 0% before getting any period moodlets and is still testing at 0 the day after it finished.  I'm not sure if it's supposed to work this way or if something is wrong with my mod.  It's starting to feel like my sim can't get pregnant at all for an unnaturally long stretch of time.  I double and triple checked to make sure she didn't accidentally take the infertile trait and I'm certain now that she hasn't.

Sims that Hate Children will use condoms no matter what, they are never going to agree to have sex that can cause pregnancy.

 

Sims fertility window towards ovulation starts right after period or few days after period ends.
