i cant get any mods to work

Ive recently downloaded a number of mods for oblivion but i cant seem to get any of them to work. Ive unzipped the mods and moved the folders and files into the steamapps/common/oblivion folder and tried using obse to run the mods but none of them seem to work. please help

Are they in your oblivion\data folder and do you have obmm to make sure your mods are in the correct load order?

 

Does the game simply crash to desktop or are there deeper issues that are found ingame?

 

Without knowing what mods you downloaded it's hard to help.
