How can I get a Vampire Lord transform that just looks like my character?

I'm desperately trying to find a way to do a VL transform that's just my character's appearance.

 

So far

 

I've tried No More Ugly Vampire transform - result = transformation turns me into a mangled, floating peice of meat that doesn't even look human.  There was some discussion about ways to fix this on nexus, (something about deleting all sexlab vampire lord anims and disabling vampire lord in MNC) but the instructions were both vague and unhelpful in the end (after 3 hours of work I had zero success).

 

 

 

I've tried Shaydows vamipre lord overhaul -  Result =  transformation looks partially like my character, but with a dysmorphic body.  the armor looks like it was made for someone with a serious oppai fetish.   Great for many!  But not my thing at all.. After transformation the head takes on a grey tint.  I think I can fix the head issue on my own, but it's pointless to move onto that because I can't change the armor.  There's long, detailed, yet still indecipherable posts (to people who don't regularly futz around with manually replacing armor) on how to customize the armor. 

 

In the thread there are lots of attractive customizations, but nobody deigned to upload them for some reason, so anybody wanting to have a more normal looking body has to figure out how to do it from scratch (this one is especially offensive.  there's a lot of good results posted that could just be drag&drop for people but zero uploads despite multiple asks from different people) Nevertheless I spent another 3 hours trying to find armors that I thought would work and replacing meshes and textures in the folder, and nothing came out looking human in the end.

 

 

 

I've tried Better Vampire Lord Transformation =  despite this being old and low tech it's far and away the best candidate despite being the oldest and low-tech.  But it still looks wonky.  It's what I'm using but it's so unsatisfying when I see there are working options out there but really bad instructions on making them work.

 

 

 

So all I'm asking is - if you've got experience & clarification on any of the above mods (or especially just a regular "plane jane" regular looking girl armor body type for Shaydow's overhaul i can drag & drop), you'd make me pretty happy.  And maybe people on the internet as well - there seem to be a lot of confused people on this issue and very few people willing to post any advice that's not either vague, unhelpful, incomplete, or incorrect.

 

I don't mean to be derisive or anything - I'm sure these mods are all great if you know how to use them.  I'm just tired and frustrated.  I'm six hours in on trying to get this done and could use the help.

Thanks to both of you for your answers.  They do seem to be along the lines of what I am looking for.

 

I definitely looked at both.  But I learned some things It seems nobody has done one for UUNP.  

 

So I'm looking to find a UUNP armor with bodyslide that uses only the 3 traditional slots (chest hands feet) so I can replace the wings, but not really sure how to tell since most mod authors don't seem to describe which slots the armor replaces - so it's just download and try!  Thank you for the suggestions
