Edit: I'm becoming convinced it's DD/DCL that's the culprit.

if you think its related with DD/DCL, then try to install the DDHOTFIX posted by Pfiffy in page 9 of the DD thread.

Animations not causing you CTD then. Did you install and uninstalled a lot of mods? If you did try using a save game cleaner like Resaver and start.

I've been using a fresh save (by using Alternate Life and starting in Breezehome).

Its not related with DD/DCL then, its something else. Your SKSE plugins working properly?

Edit: I decided to stop trying getting it to work on SSE and just went back to my load order before I started trying out the Sexlab/DD-series of mods, and inspired by someone else's post somewhere on these forums just use SLE for this stuff..
