Kamen Rider Kuuga Posted October 11, 2012 Posted October 11, 2012 Finally managed to find a black label copy of Breath of Fire 4, complete, for a decent price. Happy that I can finally complete my collection, I order it and it just came in the mail. What greets me? A FUCKING USED STICKER ON THE BACK ARTWORK. Not on the jewel case, mind you; some ASSHOLE pulled the jewel case open, pulled out the back artwork sheet and stuck a fucking sticker on it. Worse, SOMEBODY DID IT FUCKING AGAIN, because there's a second one on top of the first. I can see it. Why do these people do this? Just put it on the damn jewel case! Don't ruin the artwork! The worst part? There's a half peeled off stick on the front of the jewel case; on the case itself. So somebody did it right once before. Now I gotta see if I can maybe peel it off. The thing is practically brand new otherwise.
Ark of Truth Posted October 11, 2012 Posted October 11, 2012 It may be possible to remove the stickers by melting the glue but it is extremely tricky to do. I agree I hate pricks which do that. If it's a rare game it decreases the value of the product so much.
Riku20xx Posted October 12, 2012 Posted October 12, 2012 Those motherfu**ers... Some people are just so stupid man.
Irishredneck Posted October 12, 2012 Posted October 12, 2012 Use an clothes iron. Set it to LOW heat. Repeat...LOW HEAT... Warm up the glue and see if it releases. It's worth a try. Won't hurt the cardstock (LOW HEAT) and might soften up the glue.
