[MOSTLY RESOLVED] Need help with a few issues.

Firstly, thanks for the help and well written-out guides, patches, and mods. I really appreciate it . Overall everything is running smoothly but I do have a few issues with Lovers with PK. I hope it's nothing silly on my end, and I'd be happy if I could get some assistance.

 

** Some characters have a different shade of head then they do of their body. Nicer bodies, uglier faces by comparison.

 

NOTE: I fixed this by installing XEO. It makes a great improvement.

 

 

** Some characters say "I HAVE NO GREETING." Many (not all) of these also have Black Faces, probably indicating missing textures/meshes?

 

NOTE: LoversStupidNPC.esp I have is a very old version, and it seems to be only happening with characters from this file. Therefore I will have to sit back and wait for version G (current English version is C)

 

** Do I need the Chapron thingy? Is this causing any issues?

 

NOTE: Removed it, seems useless to me, so all good.

 

** Also when choosing to make a character, got some diablo

characters, all don't have face meshes/black faces.

 

NOTE: Installed CuteElves, very few characters from LoversStupidNPC have this problem now. Everything else appears OK so far. Unsure how children will look like if some will have this issue or not. Probably missing some meshes or textures.

 

** During H-Scenes, I get some weird items in my inventory with gibberish names which look like potions. Also the positioning can be off at times i.e. the dudes schlong pokes right through the chicks belly (unsure if this is fixable).

 

NOTE: Collision Detection problem, seems to work OK with many characters/races, but slightly off in others, Imperials match well.

 

** I can remove wombs as loot? Then it's impossible to get rid of these.

 

NOTE: Issue unresolved? Bug in Tamago? :/

 

** When talking to characters, I have a few things I can say to them which just show up with random characters which make no sense. And their replies likewise make no sense.

 

NOTE: LoversStupidNPC.esp issue again. Seems less frequent after installing CuteElves and Estrus.

 

** Love Guard Captain Cat - During H Scene, whole game goes black, only text visible. Only seems to apply to this character from what I've seen so far.

 

NOTE: Doesn't seem to happen anymore after Estrus/Cuteelves.

 

I installed Ozmo's 2048, PYFFIed Oily Skin textures. Pluggy is there, so is Menuque, and Elys_USV, Growl's universal skeleton is there too.

The black heads is a problem with your MBP\XEO install. You might've missed a file or installed it wrong.

 

The characters having a different shade of body from face is probably due to you forgetting to set bfacegentexturing=0 in your oblivion.ini (in my documents -> my games -> oblivion folder).

 

I have no greeting is an issue that can be caused by a couple of things, most commonly you teleporting into\out of the shivering isles via console (going through the door is important).

It can also be caused by missing ESP's that the characters' dialog depends on, or just a glitch.

 

As for the rest - I'm not using all of your plugins, so I don't know.

Yes it wasn't set as that, I've fixed it now. It's no longer as bad, but still sort of weird, looks like some girls have mustaches, and there's some weird texts you can choose when talking to females o_O. I've attached a pic.

 

As for reinstalling MBP, can I simply just reinstall the AIO? Because there's other mods will it intefere in any way? Is there maybe a manual way to fix this like any specific files to overwrite so I don't stuff up the whole game.

Generally speaking, it's better to install everything manually than to install an AIO if you don't know what's packaged in it. I don't know what's in your MBP AIO, so I can't tell if it's good or not.

 

As for installing MBP, there's a great guide up on the Nexus. You should be able to set it up pretty easily with that.

 

The weird dialog might be a part of a mod that wasn't translated. I assume it's a part of tamago or hiyoko, but I don't know which (I use neither).

What I can suggest is that you deactivate these mods and check if the dialog disappears, and if it does you'll know which mod it is and search for a translation.

Right now we are WAY behind on that plugin. The version posted on the side here is version C and the current Japanese version is G. I am almost 50% done with the 1st pass of translating it. The I will need to play test it a bit and make a 2nd pass to fix some of the context that is hard to pick up on the 1st run through. Long story short it will be late this weekend or early next week before you see a beta for testing with a release version following a few days after that.
