rangermanlv Posted July 6, 2018 Posted July 6, 2018 I saw this http://pandorasims.net/supernude4.html earlier while browsing around doing google searches and I noticed if you look thru the screenshots, and especially the descriptions of all the "packages" he includes for paying him on his Patron page or the packages can be downloaded individually for signing up for the website for $10 bucks? I noticed he very carefully dosent use any of the names of specific things and seems like he went out of the way to do what i'm sure was a simple repackage job to rename some things in the mod so that it dosent reference Wicked Whims anywhere, but it's very clear what he's using, and also he's using alot of peoples addons and animations from here. Now I know that not everyone's content on here isn't exclusive to WW, especially accessory items. But from all the info on that page it seems like it was designed to not mention WW or anyone involved with it or give anyone credit from where I sit as someone who's not going to be stupid enough to pay this person for this content. If you already know about this page and it pissed you off already and/or you can't do anything about it feel free to just completely delete this topic. I would totally understand. But I thought I should let someone here know about this in case it's not known.

This is the problem that some have mentioned in the "Mods and Money!?" thread. Komotor, an animator for Skyrim (Oldrim) has had his animations stolen as well. It happens. Yea it just sucks that people who work their ass off to give us cool stuff for mostly no charge, and only usually ask for a Patron subscription to them for a little bit of extra content that does not impact the free content they give out on here, and some scuzball comes along and changes a few words in the mods and packs it all up in a nice little package that gives no credit to anyone who created the content from what I can see, have no easy recourse to get rid of stuff like this. I think Turbo actually has WW under patent, but it would make no difference to sue him since he would just move his site to one of the dozens of backup URLs he has just for that purpose. "One time fee, instead of lame Patreon accounts." The irony is he has either lifted the files from this free site and locked them behind a paywall or downloaded them from the very Patreon accounts he speaks out against. The difference is animators eventually release their premium content free of charge. No one forces you to subscribe to them. This hypocrite is lifting tons of free content from this site and forcing you to pay for it, claiming he's doing you a favour. I highly doubt his premium only ripoff is even up to date.

Believe me i'm definitely not a fan of corporate america and making money off of people just because you can charge more or some BS. But the small business guy, the one who thinks some shit up and runs with it and suddenly everyone likes it so he's making bank.....yea that kicks ass. It's not like Turbo or most of any of the other people are asking for more than about 5 bucks a month, and if you've got enough people that love your shit and want to give you 5 bucks a month and you can make that much money from it, then hell yea do your thing.

Yea I remember being warned by someone or some forum posts I saw somewhere else before about Pandora Sims, even before it was a pay site a ways back. So no big surprise there.
