Problems aging up child

Recommended Posts

I had problems when I aged up a baby to a toddler and toddler to a child. A notification appreared stating (between the lines, I don't remember what it said word by word) "Something went wrong when the Sim tried to age up. This is not KW's fault, but it will try to fix the Sim..." And then a lot of notifications appeared: KWAgeUp.Run: generating Everyday outfit, KWAgeUp.Run: generating Naked_outfit, KWAgeUp.Run: generating Sleepwear_oufit, etc.

After every outfit has been settled, the child looked different than before, in example: when I got the notification on the problem aging up, the child had long hair, he was frozen and I couldn't control it, but after every outfit finished loading he had short hair and I could finally control the child. I didn't get the option to choose a new trait.

I thought everything was normal but as I have Generations I was a little put off when the Imaginary friend hadn't aged up as well. I checked the child's Carrer tab (School tab) and it stated that there wasn't any school that he could go to...

Luckily I had a saved state from before I aged the child and loaded it. I aged him again and everything looks good now. The Imaginary friend is as tall as he is and I didn't get any notification of problems. Now I could choose the new trait.

Anyone else had this problem? ?

That means something was wrong with the child's outfit in other words it somehow got broken right before the age up. Replaying the birthday was the only thing you could do but the next time it would be a good idea to change the outfit before the age up just to make sure everything proceeds properly.
