Pronema Posted June 21, 2018 Posted June 21, 2018 I've been modding for years so bear with me. When I try to merge Mihails mods, see below for which ones, I encounter a crash when loading a save but not when starting a new game or loading a game that has been made with the merge already in place. This is an isolated incident as I can reproduce it with just the below load order and does not occur if the mods are loaded separately. Now this question is less about helping me fix it so much as helping me determine the cause for the future. First, Before building this merge the merge tool complains about grevioustwilight having a null reference spell error ((I've seen this before but I don't think this should cause crash on load issues.) Second, It complains about navmesh conflicts, ((Can this be the cause of the crash? I would have expected some odd pathing issues but not a crash from this until I fixed it in the CK)) Third, when using TESEdit to examine it, it seems to conflict with an Ordinator perk in another Skyrim build I have, I may just remove the Harpy, that's where the perk change comes from, to deal with this as I am unsure if it would be okay to just let Ordinator overwrite it. ((I have a build for testing purposes and another for playing. )) Am I missing something or is it navmesh issues causing crashes? If anyone else has merged his mods how did you go about doing it to prevent crashes? Pronema Posted July 9, 2018 Author Posted July 9, 2018 I found that qasmoke was not addressing the issue, any time I used that merged file in a previously existing save it would crash, however, if I started a new game it would be fine. I am taking another crack at it here and if I have issues again I am going to post here asking a few questions. It no longer seems to crash once the NavMesh was redone.
