No pregnant bellies either clothed or naked.

Heya guys,

 

First off, amazing work! I've discovered this site about a week ago, while trying to make my NPCs nude and mind = blown since then.

 

I am getting the hang of this modding business but I'm still having issues understanding how to match body types and clothing which I'm assuming is the root of my issue.

 

When using pregnancy, everything seems to work fine as far as the actual pregnancy (eg, characters get pregnant), however, this is not reflect in their appearance in the least, either clothed or naked.

 

This is probably an easy fix (Or maybe it's related to that thread saying that there were issues with body swapping? Again, sorry, I'm having trouble understanding the structure) But I can't seem to figure it out.

My installation is probably quite messy right now as I've been trying to fix the issue for a while, and I'm really sorry if the answer was somewhere in a thread as I've gone over all of them for all the above mods but could not locate or figure out the answer.

 

Thank you for all the hard work guys! I am really amazed and I am planning on eventually contributing to the modding community as it seems this engine is going to stick around for a while!

So what exactly happens? Do you get an invisible body? DO you get the message about "a slight bump" and then nothing happens? Not every single clothing option has body swaps (probably 90% of the vanilla clothing does) so you should test while naked preferably.

 

Also, if you're looking for pregnancy related content you should give Breeder a spin. It's mostly monster related pregnancies but still, it adds quite a bit of story content you get to play through. And I'm always adding more to it.

The NPCs are unchanged, both clothed and naked, they look just fine, just not pregnant. I've tried cycling through all the body types through MCM and I've tried on Cass, Veronica, Sunny, Trudy and that booze girl from sexout trade.

 

I did get the you might be pregnant message a few time (as a male PC, is that normal?). While looking at the female NPC's inventory, I see the pregnant token, the growing offspring, and various pregsizes (only one per NPC).

Oh. NPC body swapping might be non functional at the moment. What you should do is start a female character, get pregnant, and see if your body swaps. If it does then you've got everything working correctly.

Haha well that explains it. I think I need to start from scratch to test it out. I've just tried (though only through player.sexchange) and I did get pregnant, but no belly at size 3 and some weird "heavy tits" added to inventory and body. Still no belly though.

 

Do you think I should reinstall everything or is there just a few key files I can just overwrite?

No it sounds like you've everything installed correctly.

 

But changing your sex to female just through console isn't going to run your fertility or body swapping scrips correctly. You'll need to actually make a new character. "heavy tits' is something breeder adds when you're pregnant. You can toggle it off if you don't want it.

... I'm such a jackass... Okay well it works, turns out a belly really isn't supposed to show after 24h lol. My "heavy tits" are sticking out through my clothes though haha, do I need to disable them or is there a series of armor out there I can use?

 

And also, I did notice a thread regarding beginning modding and if I can, I would love to give a hand with this. Would that be a good place to start? I have some C/ObjC experience.

the bigger boobs is mostly if you're going naked or if you've got an armor or clothing where that tits busting out look actually works. To get rid of them there's a Milk-A-Tron in your inventory. The toggle is in the same place.

 

The best way to learn is to just jump in and start making stuff. Breeder started off with a cave and a scorpion that fucked you if you got near it because I didn't know how to do anything else.

 

The geck wiki will be helpful. You'll probably want to do a few small non sex related plugins (make an npc or a cave, or maybe follow a few tutorials) before you try major scripting.

Yeah the first 1/4 of a pregnancy doesn't change any appearance
