My Dog keeps disappearing from my house please help

My Dog keeps disappearing from my house And shows up far far away from my house by a lake or on a hill or nowhere I can still see it's marker and portrait and I have to use the resetsim command just for it to disappear again and when I say disappear I mean i'll be looking at the dog and it will just disappear from the house I could use help with this.
