jithececra Posted June 5, 2018 Posted June 5, 2018 I've been away from Skyrim for several years. Back in the day, COTS was the the only decent playable children mod around but it seems a lot has changed since then. I found a whole bunch of different mods and I have no idea which one to use, so I'm hoping someone here can help me out with this. My requirements: compatible with Skyrim Special Edition and all the DLC compatible with Alternate Start - Live Another Life or a similar mod no bugged animations, camera issues, etc. shouldn't impact performance much shouldn't require me to use the console regularly all (or most) vanilla clothing/armor wearable (fitted rather than scaled, ideally) helmets should work properly large selection of non-vanilla armor, or compatible with CBBE/UNP armor on the Nexus lore-friendly art style would be nice but isn't important (armor variety is more crucial) appropriately young player voice (don't care if anime-ish or realistic) don't care about nudity/skimpiness, don't need it but it's not a deal-breaker either don't care whether NPC children are modified if I don't need the XP32 skeleton or HDT physics then that's great simple installation would be great, don't want to break my game over this I'll be using MO and SKSE and the works, but none of the adult frameworks unless I categorically need them to make the playable children mod work. So, keeping all this in mind, should I go with SkyKids? RS Children? RCOTS? Something else? Please advise.
