Armor invisible on NPC/follower but works on PC

I'm trying to use MAK's Remodeled armor (Glass Boots) on my follower. It shows up fine in the CK, everything is set up fine in the CK as far as I can tell. When I get in game, it boots are invisible on my follower who is Nord race. I make my PC a Nord and test to see if boots show up on me and they do.

 

Can anyone tell me why this is? Like I mentioned before, in the CK, the boots show up fine on the follower. As far as the races and biped slots, everything seems to be set up correctly as it shows up on my PC.

Haven't seen that issue myself and I don't use that armor set. Is the follower from the game or a mod? And if from a mod do they use a customized body? Seems like it should be some sort of file path issue but the question is weather or not the issue is with the armor or the follower. Do you have another follow you could try the armor on?

It's a follower from my mod using the CBBE body. I actually fixed it just now by duplicating the vanilla glass boots object and then just substituting the MAK boots mesh. I don't understand why this one works though because the biped slots are still the exact same as when I created the object from scratch, and the race markers shouldn't matter since the follower is Nord and I just checked the Nord race.

In my case, if a follower does not show up his/her clothes, i type at console 'resurrect' and then it shows!Also, mayatola,nice workaround at Nexus about the frost elf race comment in the description page of your follower mod so you wont get banned for mentioning LL!!

Thanks for the resurrect tip. That's really weird that it would work like that, but considering all the other bugs I've run into in the CK, I won't question it. In the meantime though, I've been sticking to duplicating vanilla objects in the CK to edit into the armors/jewelry I want and it's been working.
