I really need help with BodySlide or something

I'm trying to use the Devious Cursed Loot mod and right now I'm getting the bald floating heads problem. Doing some research, it looks like my problem is probably due to Body Slide or Caliente Tools.

 

I'm just lost. I only have a few hours a day I can devote to this and I cant seem to make progress. All of the guides I can find are written from the perspective of someone who really understands this stuff and that's great but its like reading a foreign language for a modding novice like me.

 

I have all of the required mods extracted to my data file. I've tried for a few hours now playing with this to see if it will do anything and I cant figure out anything. I try to read these guides. I feel like there is an assumption that I already know where the files are supposed to come from. And I've got so many folders now I dont know which ones are actually Skyrim folders or which ones contain data from a mod.

 

I'm just lost, frustrated. I get headaches at work and then I come home and get more headaches trying to do this.

I use Calleinte's Body as well.

 

Basically, you just design your body and then batch build.

 

I'm assuming you have your body already designed as you like, so open BodySlide and look to the bottom left corner to ensure the Build Morphs box is checked. Go back to the top to the drop down menu for Group Filter. Click the little down arrow next to the magnifying class and click on Refresh. Repeat but click on Choose Groups this time. That opens a menu where you check each group. Now, the final steps, click on Build button in the bottom middle to build your body and then click on that Batch Build ... button on the lower left to ensure everything is built for everyone.

Thanks, is there supposed to be stuff in the dropdown boxes for outfit/body and preset tabs at the top left? I'm not really sure what my game data path is supposed to be. Right now it's just Skyrim/Data

question are you using a mod manager?? or doing manual installation of everything?/

 

 

tutorial for using Bodyslide using NMM or MO for a mod manager located here

if you are doing manual installation (which is fine for those that choose to do so) it does require more technical knowledge to find and fix problems

 

if you want to use a mod manager and are not currently doing so, you will have to do some reading (google both NMM and Mod Organizer for Skyrim), then

choose which you want to use.  this site has a lot of users of both of those programs and most are willing to try to help

 

if you are new to modding Skyrim some possible reading that might help would be in the signature of this post

I'm not currently using a download manager. Which would be best for the DD mods? I'm open to using it if it can streamline this process but my fear is that since I've already started this way that it may not mix well with the mods I already have installed.

 

I'm pretty new to modding especially this way. I've downloaded some Steam mods in the past and a couple of ZaZ mods from nexus a few years ago.

Oh and I was going to say that the audio for this mod(Deviously Cursed Loot) also doesn't seem to be working and I think some of the quests may be gliched. I cant talk to many of the shopkeepers because all they want is sex(they dont actually do it if you agree though, they just walk away) and the cursed collar quest doesn't seem to start either.
