About This File
HL_LetDown adds a self-contained lactation system to The Sims 4: a Sim fills with milk over time, her body responds, and that milk becomes something you can express, drink, cook with, or take to the Occult Market and sell. Works on its own; WickedWhims is optional.
Current version: 0.2.6.
How it works
Get lactating. Order a Lactea Supplement from the mailbox (§15) and take it, click a Sim and choose LetDown > "Start Lactating", or let it start on its own after giving birth. The Sim gains the Lactating trait and a fixed milk flavor. Adults always; teens only if you turn on "Teen lactation" in Settings; children never.
Fullness builds over time. As milk accumulates, moodlets escalate through Filling Up → Swollen & Aching → Ready to Burst, and her breasts visibly swell with the fullness, easing back down once she's drained.
Express the milk. Click the Sim > LetDown > "Express Milk" once she's full enough, or let another adult Sim do it. The bottles go to whoever expresses the milk, in her flavor: Strawberry, Vanilla, Banana, Chocolate or Natural.
Drink and cook. The fridge's "Breast Milk" menu pours a glass of any flavor you have a bottle of (drinking it gives a flavor buff) and makes Milky Delight, which needs a Strawberry bottle and a counter on the lot.
The Occult Market. Travel there from your Sim's phone: Phone > Travel > "Travel to the Occult Market" (adult Sims, from their home lot). It sets up on a Bar or Lounge lot nobody lives in, picked for you, with a stall and an NPC vendor. Chat with the vendor to "Sell Breast Milk" in the game's own sell window (one occult buyer per visit, each with favorite flavors; prices drop as you sell more of one flavor) or to "Browse Wares": the Lactea Supplement, glasses of flavored milk and a few occult goods.
Make it yours. Click your Sim > LetDown > "Settings": breast growth (Off, Subtle, Normal or Large), milk fill speed, smooth breast animation, teen lactation, the Occult Market, and breast growth while pregnant (experimental).
Features
- Time-based fullness loop with escalating moodlets
- Dynamic breast growth that scales with fullness, friendly with custom bodies and sliders
- Milk bottles in 5 flavors, glasses with flavor buffs, and Milky Delight
- The Occult Market: phone travel, a stall with an NPC vendor, the game's own sell and buy windows
- Post-partum auto-activation
- Teen lactation as an option (OFF by default); children fully blocked
- WickedWhims integration (optional): breast-sucking animations drain the milk
- HL_Hucow companion (early): a Lactation need bar
- English and Spanish built in for most texts, with community translations supported. A translation kit and a debug add-on are separate downloads
Requirements
- The Sims 4 (base game). No expansion pack required.
- WickedWhims by TURBODRIVER (optional but recommended, not included): the breast growth is most visible on the nude body, and its breast-sucking animations drain the milk.
- HL_Hucow (optional, on this page): adds the Lactation need bar, which takes the place of the Fun bar while a Sim is lactating. Requires LetDown.
- Vampires / Realm of Magic (optional): they add a few wares to the Occult Market.
Installation
This page has four files:
- HL_LetDown.zip: the mod.
- HL_Hucow.zip: the optional companion (Lactation need bar).
- HL_LetDown_Debug_addon.zip: optional, only for reporting problems.
- HL_LetDown_Translations_Kit.zip: for translators.
To install the mod:
- Extract HL_LetDown.zip into your Mods folder. You should end up with Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4/Mods/HL_LetDown/ containing HL_LetDown.package and HL_LetDown.ts4script (plus a README). Keep both files together, at most one folder deep inside Mods. If you end up with HL_LetDown/HL_LetDown/, move the inner folder up.
- In game, go to Options > Game Options > Other, tick "Enable Custom Content and Mods" and "Script Mods Allowed", then restart.
- Optional: extract HL_Hucow.zip the same way.
- If anything looks stale, delete localthumbcache.package in The Sims 4 folder.
Updating: your saves are kept. If you had "Teen lactation" on, the update turns it off once; turn it back on in Settings if you want it. The debug add-on now goes inside Mods/HL_LetDown/: delete the old Mods/HL_LetDown_Debug folder (or a loose HL_LetDown_Debug.ts4script) if you had it.
Uninstall: delete the Mods/HL_LetDown folder (and Mods/HL_Hucow if you use it). Delete Mods/LetDown_data too to wipe the settings.
Translations (community)
The mod ships in English and Spanish. Translations work as drop-in language packs. Download a HL_LetDown_Translation_<LANG>.package and put it in your Mods folder itself (the folder above HL_LetDown, not inside it), and the game uses that language. Remove it and the mod falls back to English. A community translation shows any text newer than its version in English until it's updated.
Want to translate it into your language? HL_LetDown_Translations_Kit.zip has one ready-made package per language, with every string in English:
- Open yours in Sims 4 Studio (Tools > STBL editor) or the Sims 4 Translator.
- Translate the values only. Don't change the keys or the instance.
- Save it, keeping the name HL_LetDown_Translation_XX.package, and share it. Credit Home Lacter and link to this page, and send me the link so I can add it here.
(WickedWhims-style: players just drop in one file, no extra tools needed.)

German translation -- Kai Renner
Compatibility & notes
- Works alongside other lactation and body mods; the milk economy and buffs are self-contained.
- The Occult Market uses an existing Bar or Lounge lot. Its stall and crates are temporary and never saved, so removing the mod leaves nothing behind; vendors are regular townies.
- Settings apply right away and are shared by all your saves.
- The LetDown interactions, the Settings menu and some notices are English only for now.
- Reporting a problem: install the debug add-on (extract HL_LetDown_Debug_addon.zip into your Mods folder; it puts HL_LetDown_Debug.ts4script next to the mod in Mods/HL_LetDown/). Repeat what happened, then send the file Mods/LetDown_data/letdown.log with a short description. Without the add-on, the mod writes no log.

What's New in Version 0.2.6
Released
HL_LetDown 0.2.6 — The Occult Market is a real place
This is the biggest LetDown update so far: the Occult Market becomes a place your Sims travel to, with a stall, a vendor and the game's own buy and sell windows. On top of that, children are fully out of the mod and teens are now optional. Give it a try and tell me how it goes: at the end there's what to look out for and how to report problems.
What's new
- The Occult Market is a real place. It sets up on a Bar or Lounge lot that nobody lives in or owns, picked for you: your household's neighborhood first, then the rest of your world, then other worlds. It stays there as long as the lot can be used, and the first time a notice tells you which world it's in.
- Get there by phone. Phone > Travel > "Travel to the Occult Market". Adults only, from their home lot, and only the Sim who used the phone travels. If the trip isn't possible, the option is greyed out and tells you why.
- A stall with a vendor. A market stall with a few crates appears near where Sims arrive, and an adult vendor (preferably an occult Sim from your world) opens it and tends it in 6-hour shifts.
- Sell in the game's own window. "Sell Breast Milk" (on the stall or chatting with the vendor): pick bottles and amounts and see the total. There's one buyer per visit (a Vampire, a Mermaid, a Werewolf, an Alien or a Spellcaster), each with their favorite flavors. Prices are never lower than selling at home and drop as you sell more of the same flavor; you get the exact value and a receipt.
- Buy from the vendor. "Browse Wares": Lactea Supplement (§15), glasses of flavored milk (§40, delivered full), Death Flower (1 a day), Dragon Fruit (3 a day) and a few goods from Vampires and Realm of Magic if you own them. Prices never go below what the game's own buyers pay, so buying and reselling doesn't make a profit.
- Adults only, all the way. The market only opens while an adult from your household is on the lot, and the vendor's chats only show up when everyone in the conversation is an adult.
- It moves when it has to. If the lot stops working (a family moves in, the lot type changes, there's no room for the stall, or it has bowling lanes, where the game brings families with kids), the market moves to another lot and lets you know.
- Children are fully blocked. Babies, toddlers and children can't lactate, get the bar or flavor buffs, drink the glasses, eat Milky Delight, handle the bottles, glasses or pill, or use any LetDown menu. Shops don't sell them anything from the mod either (Get to Work, City Living craft tables, Businesses & Hobbies, Home Chef Hustle).
- Teens are now optional. Settings > "Teen lactation", OFF by default.
- Milky Delight is its own dish (it still looks like a parfait) and gives the Strawberry flavor buff. It can't be packed in a lunchbox, served to a toddler or stolen.
- No more gifting: bottles, glasses, the pill and Milky Delight can't be given as gifts anymore (not even between adults), and they lost some decoration tags they had inherited by mistake.
Fixes
- Cancelling a LetDown action while it was still waiting in the queue (Express Milk, Start or Stop Lactating, Order or Take Lactea Supplement, Settings) applied it anyway, and cancelling a glass of milk or a Milky Delight still gave the flavor buff. Cancelling now does nothing.
- Glasses and Milky Delight could be stocked in Get to Work store fridges and shelves: not anymore.
What to try (and how to report)
- Does "Travel to the Occult Market" show up on the phone for an adult at home, and take you there?
- Does the stall appear near where you arrive, with its crates and without blocking any doors? Does the vendor tend it from behind the counter?
- Sell a few bottles and buy something: do the windows, prices and receipts look right?
- Did you get the notice telling you where the market opened? If you change the lot in Manage Worlds, does it move?
- With a teen or a child around: they shouldn't see or get anything from the mod.
- If something breaks: install the HL_LetDown_Debug add-on, repeat what happened and send me the file Mods/LetDown_data/letdown.log. Tell me what you did and what you expected.
- If the market bothers you, you can turn it off in Settings > "Occult Market", no need to uninstall.
Updating
- Your saves keep working. If you had "Teen lactation" on, the update turns it off once (it's one setting for all your saves): turn it back on if you want it.
- If a child in your save was lactating, that stops when the save loads.
- Milky Delights cooked before this update stay regular parfaits.
- The debug add-on now comes as HL_LetDown_Debug_addon.zip and goes inside Mods/HL_LetDown/: if you had the old one (a Mods/HL_LetDown_Debug folder or a loose Mods/HL_LetDown_Debug.ts4script), delete it.
- If "Travel to the Occult Market" doesn't show up, make sure HL_LetDown.ts4script and HL_LetDown.package come from the same version.
- Community translations will show the new texts in English until they're updated.
