This mod give you the ability to hunt down and find Art Pieces across Night City which will be displayed in multiple apartments.

(H10, Japantown, Northside Motel, Corpo Plaza, The Glen.)

The Displays can be operated like a TV with built in controls to switch to the next piece or turn the screen off.

 

If you want to use this mod and have more smart frames here is a mod for you with an Artistic safe version

This the first mod I have uploaded that has requirements!

Please make sure you have all 5 of the following up to date!

This mod adds a short quest to get started. You receive a quest from Zetatech and it will require you to find the first photo at Corpo Plaza in front of Biotech. After that you can read the spoilers below for each photo location, or have fun looking through the beautiful city as you do another play through!

Text Messages:

  1. Misty send you an art piece in act 2 if you have spoken to her and let her read your tarot.
  2. Stella sends one after her gig in Phantom Liberty
  3. Zetatech sends you a free one after collecting over 20 pieces
  4. Takemura sends you one if you are not corpo and haven't completed the parade mission

 

Shopping locations:

  1. High end clothing stores sell one
  2. Gun stores sell one (this is the same as the one in the gun range)
  3. Ripper doc's sell one (Go to Viktor, best ripper in NC)
  4. Herold in Phantom liberty has one if you are not corpo and finished the parage mission

 

Displays around NC

  1. 3 are available in 7th Hell Bar
  2. 3 are available in Lizzie's Bar
  3. If you are not a street kid buy one from Coyote Cojo Bar
  4. If you are not a nomad buy one from Ghost Town bar ()anam truck quest)
  5. One is available in Mr. Hands Office
  6. The gun range has one
  7. 4 are available at the bar over the road at Lele Park (The time of day alternates photos)
  8. 3 are available in the Stadium after Firestarter quest

 

Final one

  1. When you receive David's jacket you receive a piece of art.

 

Bugs:

These are trade offs you will have to make

Viktor's TV may not show the boxing match Fixed in 1.4

Konpeki Plaze screens may show incorrect content for the scene seems fixed during my play through

Western playing at Grand Imperial Mall (GIM) may show incorrect content for the scene

Date with Rogue Movie may show incorrect content for scene

 

Sound may be affected for all of the above

 

I have no had time to test these and I have no way to fix them since they are Deceptious code.

Massive update!

 

Art has been changed into sets with longer times on each photo

The art pieces from Dog Town is topical videos from the area

File size greatly reduced!

 

- Sometimes art will look pixelated. Let it cycle through and it should clear up!

Sweet can't wait to try this out. Quick questions, based on the requirements we don't use the original with this correct? And 2. If we already have the original mod installed and started collecting a few of the art pieces, is it safe to replace the original mod with this one mid playthrough?

The original Artistic mod by Deceptious is not required. Only his Mod Core

 

I had all the collected from his mod and when I disabled his mod for my own I still had all the art collected.

I only ever tested this while making it so I hope it works the same for others!

Cool Cool Thx, gonna swap now, I have about a third of the art pieces collected, so I''ll report back how it goes, if any issues swapping mid playthrough, mid mod completion, etc. Thx again.

 

EDIT: k I had made a safety save just outside h10 b4 swapping mods (so I could re-enter to re-activate deceptious core if needed). Both displays in the apartment were displaying the new images and scrolling them just fine. I then went and collected about 5 more in world, and any I hadn't yet collected b4 swapping seem to be showing up just fine, so looks like a straight swap mid playthrough works just fine, no issues so far. I did notice that the piece you get after getting David's jacket and the scrolling tarot ones are still vanilla but I assumed that both of those were meant to stay vanilla (unique) especially the tarot ones, since all the others are working. Just thought I'd mention it in case that's not intentional and those are supposed to change too.

wondering if you can make them gif for more pictures from same artist or maybe kinda mini scenes like these in commercials

I was able to get victor art peice in act 2. Like you said some art pieces are not accessible due to certain restrictions. It would be easier to get it thought game commands but I don't know if that is possible.
