Skyrim Uncovered - Revealing Female Armor Guide - v0.1 (Semi-abandoned)

Note: This guide is unfinshed, as such there are steps missing, outfits that are not added yet and tasks that need to be done. This guide is also semi abandoned, the main reason I'm making it public right now is so that the community can finish it if they want. I may or may not ever get back to this.

 

Imagine a world where no-one has even heard of a nudity taboo, where parts of the body deemed sexual are put on full display willingly instead of concealed. This guide is made with the intent to turn Skyrim into just that.

Here is the scope of this guide:

  • Second, this guide only (un)covers women. I intend to make a separate guide for the men that can be used alongside this.
  • Outfits should be fit the theme of the outfit they are replacing and should not look out of place in the world. This means no contemporary or sci-fi outfits. I will prioritise this over skimpiness.
  • Outfits will show tits, ass and pussy when possible.
  • I don't intend to cover futa content as I'm not into that, however any armor that leaves the groin area exposed should leave room for a dick.
  • For outfits that are highly customisable, such as nisetanaka's bikini armors, this guide will show you how to make a specific configuration that I like.

I'm also going to make some assumptions in this guide:

  • You are using Mod Organiser to manage your mods - this one's important.
  • You have SKSE installed and are running Skyrim through it - also important.
  • You know how to use FNIS.
  • I'm building this on top of STEP, which includes the above tools and explains them better than I can. STEP isn't mandatory, but you can learn a lot about modding by following the guide, even if you intend to scrap everything afterwards and start from scratch. I'm probably making assumptions I haven't even realised based on my usage of STEP.
  • You have Nifskope installed and set up to open your .nif files.
  • You're using a high-end machine - this isn't mandatory by any means, but it means I'll be going for HD textures wherever possible.

 

Before you begin I recommend downloading all the files so they'll be ready when you need them. Also I advise against using Mod Organiser's built-in download manager - download them with a different program and then move them to Mod Organiser's download folder.

Without further ado, here's the guide!

  1. Preparation
    1. BodySlide and Outfit Studio -  Install the main file
      On the 1st page, choose "Unified UNP" under Options, and Pre-built UUNP Special + Morphs under Pre-Built Morphable Bodies. The RaceMenu Plugin is optional.
      On the 2nd page leave 1st Person Meshes (UUNP) and TexBlend (UUNP Special) checked, and keep UUNP Special Physics at Default.
      After the mod is installed and enabled in Mod organiser, open the data tab, navigate to CalienteTool\BodySlide\BodySlide.exe, right click it and choose "Add as executable". Keep it named "Bodyslide". Do not run this yet, we'll be using it later.
    2. XP32 Maximum Skeleton Extended - Install the main file (4.32 at time of writing)
      Leave everything as default except Joy of Perspective (set to none) and Schlongs of Skyrim (set to none if you're not using that, otherwise leave as-is)
    3. HDT Physics Extensions - Install the main file
    4. Naturalistic XMLs for HDT PE - Install Naturalistic XMLs for HDT PE v3.68

      On the 1st page, choose "Understood"

      On the 2nd page choose "No gravity pull or bounce physics, but belly collisions" for belly physics

      On the 3rd page choose "Yes" for breast rotation

      On the 4th page choose "big (G cup maybe)" for cup size

      On the 6th page choose "No" for Floppy SOS

      On the 7th page choose "Yes, please" for hdtfingers.xml

      On the 8th page choose "VectorPlexus Regular"

      Once the mod is installed, open it's folder in explorer and navigate to CalienteTools\BodySlide\ShapeData. Copy the NBB - UUNP Special folder and paste it to the same location in BodySlide's mod folder. 

    5. HDT HighHeels the System - Install the main file

  2. The Body
    1. DIMONIZED UNP female body - install UNP BASE Main body V1dot2
    2. UNP Jiggle Body Base Meshes - install UNP Jiggle Body Base Meshes
    3. Demoniac- High Quality Glossy Female Body Texture 8K 4K 2K -  install Demoniac 1.12 UNP Only

      On the 4th page of the installer, choose Realgirl + SG Head. I left Add Pubic Hair empty.

      On the 5th page I chose 4K. I haven't tried 2K, so I don't know what difference it will make visually if you choose that.

      On the 6th page choose Use Exist, as this will be replaced by the next mod we'll install.

      On the 7th page choose Use Exist, leave 8k Specularmap Option empty and keep Subsurface Textures enabled.

      On the 8th page leave all boxes blank

    4. Graphene Block 30 - install Graphene Block 30 Uncompressed 4k

      Muscle Definition: Medium

      If you don't want these check the screenshots to see the other options; Most of these are included in the uncompressed 4k download. Eastern/Western comparison is in the separate screenshots download on the mod's tumblr page.

      A window should come up saying "No game data on top level". In this window, move the following files to Data\textures\actors\character\female:

      Body Textures\Diffuse and Normal\Body\Type-A\Normal\Medium\femalebody_1_msn.dds

      Body Textures\Diffuse and Normal\Hands\Normal\femalehands_1_msn.dds

      Body Textures\Diffuse and Normal\Head\Western\Normal\femalehead_msn.dds

      Right click the "Data" folder (one level below "<data>") and select "Set data directory".  The warning message should turn green and say "Looks good". Click OK to complete the installation.

    5. Fair Skin Complexion - Install Fair Skin Complexion for UNP v9.3 Optimized
      Go with these settings:
      Diffuse Maps: None

      Normal Maps: None
      Specular Maps: Goose Bumps v1.0
      Subsurface Scattering: Subsurface Textures (Default)

      Leave the Optional Files unchecked

    6. Run the Bodyslide executable through Mod Organizer - we added this to the drop-down menu when we installed the mod.

      On your first run check Skyrim's path is correct, and choose it

      Under Outfit/Body, select NBB - UUNP Special

      Under Preset, choose UUNP - UNPB

      Click Preview to check what this looks like, then choose build if you're ready.

    7. Optional: Oil 'er up! - Open UNP Jiggle Body Base Meshes Mod folder, and open meshes\actors\character\character assets\femalebody_1.nif

      Expand "1 NiTriShape" and select BSLightingShaderProperty.

      In the Details panel, double click the value for "Glossiness" and set it to 150.

      If you ever want to undo this, change it back to 30.

      Save your changes
      Note: rebuilding your body through bodyslide will undo this step.

  3. Outfits: Mod installation
    1. Shinshi——LEWD vanilla armor replacer collection(UNP) - - Download this massive file
       

      Create a new folder inside Mod Organizer's mod folder, and name it "Shinshi Replacer"
      From the zip you just downloaded, extract the "Caliente Tools" folder and "ShinShi_Armor_Replacer.esp" into "Shinshi Replacer"

    5. Heimu Clothes pack - Download Heimu Clothes pack
      When installing, name it "Heimu Clothes pack" and click "Manual"
      Set the folder containing the "meshes" and "textures" subfolders as data directory
      Within the "meshes"  folder uncheck all subfolders except "steamslave". Do the same for the "textures" folder.
      Complete the installation.
      Open the mod in explorer and move "Heimu Clothes Pack\meshes\steamslave\cuirass_1.nif" to "Heimu Clothes Pack\meshes\clothes\prisoner\". Rename it to "PrisonerClothes_1.nif"

    1. Create an zip file containing the following files from your data folder:
      Skyrim - Meshes.bsa
      Dawnguard.bsa
      Dragonborn.bsa
      HearthFires.bsa (completely optional, only archive if you want an archive contain all vanilla meshes for whatever reason)
      Move the zip file you created to MO's downloads folder
      Install it through MO
      When MO asks you if you want to extract BSAs, choose yes. If it doesn't ask you, open MO's settings, open the plugins tab an make sure that the BSA Extractor is enabled, then try again.
      Name this new mod "Skyrim Base Meshes".
    2. Create a new folder in your mods folder. Name it "Skyrim Uncovered Modular Armors"

      KEEP "Skyrim Uncovered Modular Armors" ENABLED! Further steps will overwrite these files. If you do not have this mod enabled, other files may be overwritten, potentially causing issues in the future.
    3. Make sure MO's overwrite folder is empty.
  5. Modular armors part 2 - Putting the pieces together
    1. Install The Amazing World of Bikini Armor, and install T.A.W.o.B.A UNPB Meshes over it from the same page

      Run the Bodyslide executable through Mod Organizer - we added this to the drop-down menu when we installed the mod

      Open Outfit Studio by clicking the button at the bottom right

      Create a new project by opening the file menu and clicking "New Project"

      Click "Browse", and, from MO's mod folder, navigate to "UNP Jiggle Body Base Meshes\meshes\actors\character\character assets" and open "femalebody_1.nif"

      Make sure "From File" is selected and "Shape:" is set to "UUNP" and click next.

       

      Under "Outfit/Mesh" click browse and navigate to "The Amazing World of Bikini Armor\meshes\armor\shitty\Blade"

      Open "abs_3_1.nif". Click finish.

      Load a new outfit by opening the file menu and clicking "Load Outfit"

      Under "Outfit/Mesh" click browse and open "gorget_2_1.nif" MAKE SURE THAT "Keep other shapes" IS CHECKED BEFORE CLICKING OK OR YOU WILL HAVE TO START OVER ON THIS ARMOR.

      Do the same for the following files:

      Perform the following steps for every NiTriShape except the body:

      Expand the NiTriShape in the block list and click BSDismemberSkinInstance.

      In the Block Details, expand Partitions, then the other Property under that called Partitions.

      Change the value of "Body Part" to 32.

      Once you have done this for all of them, save and exit.

       

      Load a new outfit, and browse to "The Amazing World of Bikini Armor\meshes\armor\shitty\dragonbone". Open "absarmor_3_1.nif", and this time leave "Keep other shapes" unchecked before clicking OK - this will start a new project.

      Add the following files, with "Keep other shapes" checked each time:

      Item - AnotherVampireLeatherArmorV1 0\Meshes\Armor\RavenDier_Black\VampireBoots_1.nif
      Item - AnotherVampireLeatherArmorV1 0\Meshes\Armor\RavenDier_Black\VampireGlove_1.nif

      In "Item - AnotherVampireLeatherArmorV1 0\Meshes\dlc01\clothes\vampire", rename the files like so:
      VampireBoots_1.nif to VampireBootsF_1.nif 0
      VampireGlove_1.nif to VampireGlovesF_1.nif
    5. Copy the following files to "LadyMoragTong\meshes\
