The Gunners and the Lions

Flowery title I know but this is a football related post (I mentioned in this post that even though I'm on a hiatus from screenshots I'd still add the odd text post to this blog) since both my teams played today (Arsenal and Olympique Lyonnais for those interested) and while Arsenal lost 3-1 to Manchester City, not too surprised about that (although from what I hear two of their goals are controversial) as City are slapping teams for fun this season (with how they're playing I want to see them play PSG and slap them silly in the Champion's League) especially with Wenger benching Lacazette. However my other team (my preferred team, my first choice) won and not only won but absolutely demolished Saint-Etienne 5-0 away from home in the Rhone Derby (THE derby of Ligue 1) with Nabil Fekir getting 2 (Mariano Diaz scored as did Bertrand Traore and Memphis Depay) which perked me up. However this got me thinking about a few things today like what would a mashup of Arsenal's and Lyon's team be like? I'll have my thoughts on it down below as well as amusing myself with an image of Jean-Michel Aulas getting into a fistfight with Stan Kreonke (related to the aforementioned merge of Arsenal and Lyon) and then finally what a team of Lyon's best youth setup players would look like (also below.)

Anyway the merged team I dub it Olympique Arsenal (or Arsenal Lyonnais:)
GK: Anthony Lopes
DR: Rafael
DCR: Mouctar Diakhaby
DCL: Laurent Koscielny
DL: Sead Kolasinac
MCR: Lucas Tousart
MCL: Aaron Ramsey
AMR: Maxwel Cornet
CAM: Nabil Fekir
AML: Alexis Sanchez
ST: Alexandre Lacazette

Subs:
Shkrodan Mustafi
Nacho Monreal
Hector Bellerin
Houssem Aouar
Mariano Diaz
Mesut Ozil
Petr Cech

Manager: Bruno Génésio

I know a seven man bench but fuck it, so yeah some potential surprises there but I honestly rate Rafael as a better right back than Bellerin since Bellerin has pace and that's about it, Rafael can at least create chances. As for the AMR, Cornet and Traore are the only two players out of both squads that can really play as a right winger (Lacazette could technically do it but he's best a striker) and Nabil Fekir over Ozil because (and I'll probably get a bit of flak for this) I think Fekir is a much better player than Ozil. Also Bruno Génésio as manager because Wenger is going senile.

But anway the team with Lyon's best youth setup players;
GK: Lopes
DR: ?
DCR: Mouctar Diakhaby
DCL: Samuel Umtiti
DL: ?
MCR: Maxime Gonalons
MCL: Corentin Tolisso
AMR: Alexandre Lacazette
CAM: Nabil Fekir
AML: Antoine Griezmann
ST: Karim Benzema

So while I consider myself to be reasonably well informed when it comes to Lyon's truly good youth setup players (not going to lie Diakhaby is borderline, but I rate him) I cannot for the life of my think of any full backs, sure Tolisso can play as a RB and Umtiti as a LB but they're better off in their natural positions but it's that attack that I find to be the most interesting as you'd have Benzema being supplied by both Griezmann and Fekir and while I chose the 4-2-3-1 formation it would probably be best with a 4-2-2-2 formation with Lacazette and Benzema up front with both Fekir and Griezmann in behind them.

Sorry for the football post for those of you who don't care about football or about my love for a pokey little team from France's third largest city. Honestly I'd like a 7B bombshell Lyon kit for Mist so that I can just post a picture of her in it for any football related posts *hinthint(
