The Rise of the Queen Part Two

Hey guys!

I don't know if any of you read this story, but here is the second part. It's been a really long time since I last posted here D: Mostly because this story took a really long time to write and I've also been busy with real life stuff.

Anyway, this is the second part of Carmen's story: The Rise of the Queen.

These stories have a LOT more writing than usual. I think this one has 6000+ words. Because of this, I cannot fit them on loverslab's post size. If you would like to read it, you will have to download the PDF here (make sure you've read part one first!):

It will look weird. There is a lot of white space in between text and pictures. I can't really do anything about that because PDF's are a page formatted file type. I am currently exploring alternative methods for future parts.

Here are some photos from the story to pique your interest. I hope you enjoy it

:)

Gee, have you been inspired by some horror movies.. lol ..... The face and the tits on the creature in the last picture makes me feel scary and horny. Unusual combination. ;):)

Anyway, good work.

Great job with the story, I wish I could write like this.

And so many great ideas like the birth or Siinwahn's character. Is his facepaint is custom made? It looks awesome.

In general, you did such a great job with the design of the character design, especially the male ones. It's really easy to get some good looking female characters for a story from the nexus and such, but it's basically impossible to get some decent male ones... Especially Raman looks amazing. I assume they are all custom made? Are these your player characters or do you add them as NPC followers?

I don't really see a reason to not split this entry up into two parts, maybe after chapter 4 in your PDF and post them as regular blog entries. I agree that it's better to read them in one sitting but still... you maybe could have posted them close to each other within a couple of days so people would remember the previous scenes...

Anyway great job! Looking forward for more.

There is a word limit on blog's posts, really ? Anyway, feel free to post it in two parts as Alter native suggested it (I can see why he chose that pseudo now :D).

Interesting chapter, Siinwahn feels like Ciciro to me, both creep me the fuck out. Can't wait for the next one though.

I really like this story, especially the dragon priest masks of the Mortuus Magiern (hehe german plural :D) and the pictures are like always incredible good! :)

Haha! Unusual indeed xD I definitely took a much creepier approach to planning this story; the Frost of Ages certainly has a dark appeal to it, but it wasn't quite... horror? enough. With this story I wanted that and Grave Hound (that girl in the last picture) is the epitome of the the twisted personalities my mind is capable of forging. If you want to read more on her, her backstory is on my character page on tumblr! Here!

Yeah, I probably should just split it up. I guess I'm too stubborn to try that (I've always made my updates in a single post), but I'll give it a shot!

Siinwahn's face paint is not custom made. The black portion that frames his face is actually a vanilla warpaint that is set on another race. Race menu allows me to use all warpaints on all races. I'm embarrassed to say that I don't recall where the red tendrils below his chin are from :/.

All my characters are custom made! I refuse to use another person's followers unless it's for a crossover, but I doubt I'll ever do those; at least any time soon. It gives me the freedom to pull them from my head and into reality. It's something I think all story tellers should do. I have followers versions of almost all my characters, save a few. It's just much easier that way. When taking the shots my player characters at the times of their scenes were: Rat, Grave Hound, Ramag, and Siinwahn.

And learning to write just takes time. I've been doing it for years and still don't consider myself very good, haha. Just keep at it! A great way to practice is this worldwide competition I compete in called NaNoWriMo

Thank you so much for the kind words :)

Need to read it looks so good

Yes, you do, Tex. xD

I'm not sure if it is a word limit or a general size limit. Either way, I've hit it before and it is a pain in the ass (hitting preview deletes all the images and text beyond the limit!). I will consider posting it in two parts from now on as well.

As a matter of fact, I based Siinwahn on Cicero! Both in his personality and backstory, actually. But more on his past later ;) Thank you!

Nice catch on the German! I love the language, was actually born there but wasn't around long enough to get fluent. If I'm ever struggling for a name or title, German is the first language I turn to! Mortuus Magiern translates to "Dead Mages" if you didn't catch it. Mortuus being the latin word for dead (according to google xD) And thank you so much! It means a lot to me that you enjoy it :)

why the little witch is half naked at the beggining of the story ?

Well, Carmen started off at one of "The Girls" who were basically created to fill the "sex appeal" void my blog had. When I first made her story, I kept her topless outfit without thinking about it. It wasn't until after that I realized she needs a reason to be that way rather than just "because". I do have one, but I am not inclined to share it just yet as it is actually a key part of her backstory. But I do want to cover her up which is why I set up that scene with the drunk.

Respect for all the work on the custom NPCs. The effort put into them is quiet noticeable. I would have bet Carmen was one of your player characters.

I really suck with the npc editor thats why my blog only has one main character^^.

Thanks! I was pretty terrible at it too, you should see my earlier character drafts (yikes!).
