TM : Skingrad Nights

Thulas

A silent night with a cloudy sky layed over Skingrad, the town of Janus Hassildor and the Chapel of Julianos. After carefully looking around the corner the Bosmer realized the patroling guard finally turned right and left the street and, which was even more important, was too far away to spot him. He waited a few seconds more and then quickly rushed across the street, hiding carefully again so no one could see he was there. No, no one was allowed to know what he knew:

The Lady arrived in town.

Yes, finally, the Lady! The Goddess! The Mistress! Glathir was glad she came back to visit him, he had obeyed her will for the last few years to live an isolated life, far away from those lurking eyes which lust to lay their eyes on her. Never anyone should see her, no, she was too divine for any mortal to see. And she ordered him to allways stay ready for her return, when ever she needed a safe haven and a sip of mortal essence, Glathir was there for her to feast on. And he was more than happy to serve her command.

The Bosmer quickly sneaked behind the houses and tried to reach his destination as fast as possible, he didn't wanted to make the Lady wait. The noise of his shoes hitting a bucket filled the air. Damn Tamika! Did the guard hear him? Yes? No? Perfect, Glathir needed to head towards the cemetary as fast as possible.

As he arrived he looked around. It seemed he was fast enough. Euphoria came up in his mind, the lovely Lady soon will kiss him again. Her sweet lips and his neck soon will touch again, making an eternity pass away during a second and raise him to the heights of his love and affection towards her.

"You are late. Again". The echos of a female voice resound from the chapel's walls and the cold tombstones and immediately drew Glathir's attention towards the voice's origin. The Lady!

"My Mistress, I hope I served you well, I..." adressed the Bosmer the phantom sitting in the shadows, but he immediately got interrupted as a clawed glovew hit his face and caused a deep wound. The figure stood up and approached him. "You failed me. You drew attention towards you with your paranoia."

Even though she looked so fragile and graceful her grasp had the strenght of her iron will, she grabed his throat and lifted him off the ground with ease, staring into his eyes. With fear in his eyes he tried to explain himself: "But Toutius Sextius...and Bernadette Peneles...and Davide..." Again she interupted him by lifting him even higher: "Spare me with your futile attempts."

Glathir's head was thrown against a tombstone which immediately broke in the force of the impact. "Pathetic. You are a worthless worm, Glathir. I have no further use for you". "But...", Glathir crawled and tried to follow her as she turned around and started to leave: "Mistress...Lady Marina..."

Without looking back or saying another word Marina walked away from the bleeding Bosmer. One thrall less didn't mean anything for her, there were plenty of poor souls who already had submitted to her will or easily could be forced into submission.

After leaving the city's gates she had to smile as she saw a tall man sitting on a guard's corpse. With a long and passionate kiss she greeted the Nord who immediately pointed at the dead body below him: "Sorry, my dear, but he was about to follow you. I thought it would be better to simply give him a taste of my axe".

With a simple meow she noded and the two continued their journey.
