This is the error you see when attempting to run Skyrim with an ENB on Windows 10 on the latest NVIDIA drivers. There are a bajillion threads about this. All of them blame Microsoft and Windows 10. For starters: shut up about that. Not that I am a Windows fangurl or anything. Well I am. But still. Haters shut up. It is actually NVIDIA's fault. Blame them. I for one like how my Skyrim gets about 10 extra FPS on Windows 10.

One solution is to delete the DXGI.DLL file from your ENB. But this is meh, and will most likely run fine but without things like Depth of Field working.

But lets go ahead and "fix" it. You have two choices. Unfortunately this means you need to run older drivers in both cases. But this is why its NVIDIA's fault. I am running a GTX 760 ATM... if you are one of those people who go and buy that one that hasn't even come out yet, the 1080 or whatever, you might be SOL, as newer drivers may be required to drive the features on those new things.

First Choice.

Only install the drivers from Windows Update. Even the drivers my machine downloaded last night on the latest Insider Preview Fast ring still work fine. Everything works, ShadowPlay, all that happy crap. And so does my ENB with DOF. Huh. The drivers that Microsoft approved work? No way.

Second Choice.

If you want to install manually, the last version I identified that worked by installing each version one at a time until it stopped, was 341.44. All drivers newer than this seem to be fucked in this regard. Download link from NVIDIA's site. Again, ShadowPlay and all that crap still work.

Enjoy your working ENB, DXGI whatever that even is, and DOF, without any QQ. Race you to the horn of Jurgen Windcaller!

Attached are screecaps of the Seasons of Skyrim ENB, unmodified, DOF working out of the box, and no QQ about create factories on launch, running on Windows 10 Insider Build 14332.

Yes I can confirm that nvida does have errors with skyrim enbs on windows 10. I never had that error but every enb that used dxgi files was lacking most of the effects. It was really hard to find a solution but in the end replacing dxgi with the windows dxgi fixed the problem for me without the need of using old drivers. I'm not sure about the performance since it's the first time I use an enb and since i'm a lucky person it had to happen with windows 10
